Hi guys and gals,

I am an old GS2 user and had successfully repit, installed isorec and flash cm13 on this device.

I just acquired a n7000 and i want to update it with this rom.

Right now it has cwm 4 (looks kind of buggy tbh) and run latest 4.1.2 ics stock rom afaik (i didn't installed them, previous owner did).

It seems i don't really need to repit as the 1gb system partition can handle cm14 and gapps (pico).
Am I right?

So could I flash directly this rom or should I flash the cm13 kernel as stated in OP for coming from stock ICS?

Finally i wonder when i should flash iso rec?

Can i flash this rom then gapps then iso rec or should i flash cm13 kernel (isorec compatible i imagine) then cm14 and gapps then iso rec?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You should make all steps needed for coming from stock. For isorec you should not flash it. I am not flash it. But if you really want to use your phone better repartition it. Cause art really eat 2Gb apps space.

Hi. Mobile data doesn't work on "Beta 2" version and there is no way to set APN. After installing an app from Google Play to change my APN, I saw this message: "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user"!
Do it manualy not by installing app from Play Store.
If manualy setting will not work you can try this:
http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...ettings-are-not-available-for-this-user-issue
http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...int-name-settings-not-available-for-this-user
https://www.reddit.com/r/cyanogenmod/comments/2v8tb8/how_do_i_fix_the_access_point_names_are_not/

If it should not help you can try a factory reset

Yes this is the correct way.
Do the steps to install it from an stock rom.
Then you can install the isorec recovery
then reboot the recovery and repit your device (the /system partition is bigger as on the i91000 so it will fit the rom without repartition but you should do it because the /data partition is too small to fit more apps with the art runtime)

This is the NightOwl CM14.1 Android 7.1.1 Beta 2 built from source for the Galaxy Note 1 GT-N7000/GT-N7000B

This CM14.1 based ROM is currently in Beta state with some missing and broken functions! But all the main functions should work

Code:
Use my Roms only if you are sure about the risks of flashing custom Roms/Kernel to your device. I'm not responsible for any damage caused by using one of my files.
NOTE:
Because of the ART runtime since Android 5 all Apps will need more space. If you want to install more Apps you should think about repartitioning your internal storage. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642299
You can also find a repartition howto in the Howto Install section.

Known Bugs cm14.1 Beta 2:

If you flash gapps you need a wifi or mobile network and a google account or you will stuck in the first start wizard!
Don't install supersu (it will give you a boot loop!) (the internal root is working. you need to enable root in the developer settings)

How to Install:
If you are running a custom Kitkat, Lollipop or Marshmallow Rom:
1. Copy Rom + Google Apps to your sdcard.
2. Boot into recovery
3. Factory Reset + Format the /system partition
4. Flash the Rom and Gapps.
5. Reboot

The steps to install it from an stock samsung rom are:
If you have already an samsung 4.1.x running you can skip step 1

1.flash N7000ZSLR1_N7000OZSLR1_BRI (or any other other 4.1.2) stock rom using odin
2.Copy Rom + Google Apps to your sdcard.
3.flash PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5 (http://d-h.st/OTu) to get cwm recovery by using odin or mobile odin (To download click the blue Download now button)
4. boot into recovery
5. flash this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=20863 to get an updated recovery
(this step will make your old rom unbootable stuck in the n7000 screen but you can boot into recovery with press and hold "home" and "volume+" buttons and power on your phone)
6. you need to reboot! your device now to recovery
7. you are now in the updated recovery and you need to do a factory reset + format the /system partition
8. you can now install the rom and gapps and reboot your device

Howto Repartition your device and install this Rom:
Savin Vasudevan has written all the needed steps to repartition your device to add more space for installing Apps
(Please replace the files in Step 16 with the newest ones from this Post for cm14/android7)
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B9I1tLEDTBGPMk1obkd3VGpqWGc

Lanchon has made a tool to make it also possible to repartition your device in the recovery after you have installed the rom without loosing your data
https://github.com/Lanchon/REPIT

Here you can find 2 example zip file for the n7000 and some instructions how to use it with NightOwl
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66341193&postcount=2071

Updating If you are running an earlier NightOwl cm14 version:
1. Copy Rom to your sdcard.
2. Boot into recovery
3. Flash the Rom (you dont need to reflash the gapps if you update from an earlier nightowl version)
4. Wipe dalvik-cache and format the /cache partition (This will not delete your apps or data)
5. Reboot

How to enable root:
1. Go to Settings-About phone and tip 7 times on Build number to enable the Developer options
2. Go to Settings-Developer options-Root access and set it to Apps and ADB
Don't install supersu (it will give you a boot loop!)

Comment réglé le problème de la mémoire système ...2GO...!!!!!!!!!!!!!:crying:
MERCI.
I hate to break it to you, but that's not the correct attitude. Bauner is doing this for free, so you cannot tell him your problem is an emergency. Secondly, as Bauner pointed out, you need to write in English. If your skills are not good enough, using Google translate will probably do the trick.

It seems that your problem is that you don't have enough space in your phone's data storage? If that's the case, you need to repartition it using this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642299

I've just repartition a friend's Galaxy Note with the 12 GB PIT file, and I've got an 11,80 GB partition just for his apps now.

If you need more storage space for photos and videos, you can always use an SD card, as they're cheap nowadays.

I am sorry for my french and thank you very much the friends you are nice.
Take a look at the first post. The fifth spoiler has all of the information that you need to repartition your device. Don't worry about your English. It's better than my French. ;)

What do you mean by system memory?
Physical memory = NoGo.

Hello, is it possible to make a "Close all" button in the Recent Apps screen at the bottom like in "Ressurection Remix"
?
If it is many apps in "recent" screen, you need to scroll and scroll and scroll to the very first (or last?) one to reach the "Close all" button. But if we have "close button" right after we open Recent Apps screen it would be much easier and faster.
Thanks

There is a clear all option at the top while using Nova Launcher.

I can t download N7000_16GB_Q1_20110914-stock.pit .................:crying::crying::crying::crying:

There's a stock pit in this link from the OP, but I wonder why you would need that one...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642299

You'd better repartition by using @Lanchon's method.

Good luck.

What do you mean? It's not the launcher option and all the same in Nova, Trebuchet or GoogleNow - 'CLEAR ALL" button on the top right corner in RecentApps list.

My wrong..., you wanted an extra button without the scrolling up, I get it now. I thought you missed the option completely.
Thanks for the head up....Cheers.
