como lo hicste has un tutorial

Thanks a lot for the Rom @bauner
Clean flashed it on my GT-N7000 now and so far couldn't find any bugs that aren't known yet :)
Since it's my 2nd Phone I can't test anything RIL related but I'll try to check for any other bugs.
Do you know if we'll ever be able to install Magisk to our Note / What's the reason that we can't install it? I've read something about our Devices Ramdisk being different.

"Unsuccessful download" keeps on showing on Google Play Store And even when i downloa

How do i fix it? I cant find the "downloads" app too. When i want to check on the downloads. I went for the gapps arm, 8.1, pico since my LOS is the android oreo version for my device. So i tried looking and searching for a way but then i was still having some troubles. Cant seem to find the way to fix it. I tried downloading any downloading app and it worked then suddenly stops downloading and says on the notification "download unsuccessful" can someone help me please? :( i love this custom rom. I dont wan to change to any other roms.

Awesome ROM. Actually works fine for me for all day usage. Battery usage seems no different from stock 4.1.2 and the phone got way faster (but then, I didn't install Gapps).

Only problem: since yesterday I have lost the ability to make/take phone calls. Mobile Data works fine. And when trying to switch carrier (selecting 'off' on 'Automatically select network') it keeps searching forever and sometimes comes up with an empty window titled 'Network' with only a 'close' option.
Calling works fine with same SIM in different phone.

Any ideas?

*EDIT*
So I fixed it by backing up my 8.1 system, factory reset and flashing 7.1 (LineageOS 14.1), picking a different carrier in 'network' settings, and then restoring backup in TWRP. Probably not the best way to do it, but at least it worked. Different network selection still does not work for me in 15.1beta3.

some issues

hi thanks for great rom
I used it from first days and there is some annoying bugs
1- media (videos & sounds) stop working until next restart. including instagram and other media.(it also happens in your android 5 6 & 7 roms)
2- signal loss (it doesn't need to restart phone to solve the problem)

@bauner Thank you very much for breathing new life into my Note 1!

My Primary motivation for installing this ROM is to run a app on my old Note 1 that requires a newer version of Android than 4.1.2.
I'm very impressed and grateful!

SOLVED: Repit error: constraints and maybe not enough space
When I tried to repit with the lanchon script it failed mentioning constraints and speculating not enough space.
I resolved this issue by using advanced wipe, wiping: /data /system /cache dalvik-cache and then running lanchon reptit again.
Then I checked the re-pitting instructions again more carefully and saw that /sdcard needs to have at least 6gb free or something. I checked and in it's freshly formatted state it had about 6gb free.
Surprisingly even though my partitions were empty at that point, it took quite a few minutes to complete.

After it finished I re-flashed the lineage OS 15 .1 ROM and Google Apps then Rebooted and all was well.
I formatted /system to be 1024M, used pico gapps; and it still has 225M free!

--------

I'm a happy camper.

Listing on lineageos.org?
@bauner: I'm curious what it would take to officially list this ROM on lineageos.org... it's so good!!!

Hi everybody,
first thanks @bauner for this rom. Even if it is still in beta state it became immediately my favorite one. Most of the performance issues i encountered in previous roms are definitely improved.

I'm however facing a non reported bug, well it was reported in page 19 with beta 2 and it is still present in beta 3: I'm getting error 491 (and in one non reproducible case error 192) if i try to download several apps from the play store.
The apps I am unable to download from play store are: Dropbox, Outlook, Chrome.
The apps I installed from the play store without any problem are: Google Documents, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Open document reader, Xodo, KeepassDroid, Total Commander and related plugins, cam scanner, telegram, firefox, google News, Google Translate, Keep, Maps Go, Navigator for Maps Go, Web View.

Basically i tried to install a bunch of apps to see if it was a common problem and it seems restricted to few of them.
On top of that i'm unable to download files from any browser as reported from the other user that had this same problem with beta 2.

The actions i tried so far are: Deleting all Play store data, remove the google account then reboot then re-add it, complete reformatting of the device including repit and then flashing the latest version of OpenGapps (tried both nano and pico, currently running with nano) with the beta 3.

Of course there is the workaround of downloading the apks from a pc and then install them, but it doesn't solve the problem of downloading files from a browser and, if i can, i want to help identifying the culprit.
What do you suggest to do?

Standby lasting a very long time
@bauner I must compliment you again on this fantastic ROM, it's better than Samsung's official ROM by far. So much faster, more usable and slick.
I also found the phone uses almost no battery on standby. The phone was able to stay on standby for a few hours and was still on 100% charge afterwards. With wifi connected (bluetooth and all location settings disabled, pico google apps installed but no account logged in), all animations disabled in Dev tools.
Battery saver wasn't even enabled, in fact I think the phone was in performance mode o_O.

------------

The phone boots incredibly fast also compared to some of my later Galaxies.

--------------

Won't boot with power connected
I can confirm this issue that someone else mentioned.

--------

Special request :D
Would it be possible to have a version of the kernel that causes the phone to power on by itself (without pressing power button) after some delay when USB power is detected, and hopefully even without needing to connect a battery?
Since somebody mentioned that you've done something to the charge animation, this gives me hope!

https://github.com/bauner/android_kernel_samsung_tw_n7000
1. So I need to find the part of the code associated with the power button.
2. Figure out what code runs then the batt charging and the phone is off.
3 Force phone to power up

It is always advisable to run the REPIT script without retaining any data (aka wipe upon repartition).
I don't think there's any limitation for the size of /sdcard. My family has two n7000 repartitioned to 10GB /data and ~4GB /sdcard (infact less than 4, just 3.xGB). However theirs are repartitioned using PIT file method.

SD Card ExFAT Support

Does this Rom support formatting SD Card to ExFAT; if not, will it support it in a stable version?

When inserting ExFAT SD Card, it says SD Card needs to be formatted to be secure and it formats it to FAT!
