Xposed

Xposed is working with alpha 1.

Follow the links and download xposed-v90-sdk27-arm-beta3.zip (and xposed-uninstaller-20180117-arm.zip in case you need it).

Flash beta3 from recovery, but do a full backup first. Then install Xposed Installer from the PlayStore, then install an Xposed module to test it with. I used Greenify.

I've rebooted several times and it's still playing nice.

Oh i found out that it was not really a signal loss but a random no simcard. It is random everytime i reboot the phone. I have to reboot again for the system to "detect" the sim again

Welp I also face this problem since months ago (during last year, running rros nougat)... Tried several time of clean install of nougat but didn't help, even with a different sim. Hopefully as for now the issue has not come back again for me on los15.
I tot I'm the only one facing this issue ._. as I'm expecting this is hardware related problem. I'm highly confident this is not software related. My sis and my mom they both using n7000 as daily driver with rros nougat running since clean install during earlier last year, and they didn't hv this/any problem until now. (My mom make many phone calls everyday. ) Guess should be due to the worsening condition of the modem chip, maybe is because of the heat released from CPU is too much?

Second, i encounter the same problem on nougat : sometimes, the sim card is "gone".. only way to bring it back is a reboot.

Tell me what to search in log so i can provide you an extract.

Thanks. Great rom but for some reason it resets the /system partition to the default even after I formatted it to 2gb. I prefer the nano gapps. Got it working anyway. Thanks!

How can i change the zram size? It seems like everytime I change the value it always reset on 350 mb everytime i close the app (i use Kernel Adiutor).

This is because the rom gets installed as image and currently the resize script to the max partition size is missing.
You could do it yourself in the twrp terminal with:

umount /system
e2fsck -fy /dev/block/mmcblk0p9
resize2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p9
e2fsck -fy /dev/block/mmcblk0p9

but then if you use bigger gapps as pico you can run out of space if you update to a newer version because of the gapps backup and restore tool

It seems that Kernel Adiutor does not work to change the zram size.
I currently can't say more about it because I have running another testbuild wthout zram

The rom is a android go build which does not support split screen

Oooo...will be keeping an eye on this ROM...I feel that the GO builds will help with UX as my Note1 struggles at times with the more recent builds.

Thanks again for keeping our phones alive. A lot of my friends keep asking when I'm gonna update my phone, but I get a perverse pleasure when I whip out my 6 year phone running the latest Android builds.

how is your battery life on this rom?
true, i have old anker battery but battery life seemed much better on LOS14.1.
speaking of old battery, does anyone have advise for good replacement battery?

on the other hand this rom smokes LOS14.1 in every other department...it´s so much smoother. TNX bauner!
my wife (who is now using my old note) use it as her daily driver.
all major stuff work, but i can confirm all known bugs.

she uses nova launcher which crashed few times.

It is a known problem. You will have the same for a short time on screen rotation and in screenshots
