@bauner The battery is draining SOO fast and it barely lasts a day! Please give some solution to this because the new update of this ROM will take time
The short answer to your problem
For me, the principal joy of the N7000 hardware is that I can change its battery in seconds. I never leave the house without a fully charged second battery and, therefore, I never run out of juice. Get yourself a second battery, they don't cost much.
Secondly, if you are using this alpha 1 ROM as your everyday device (not advised) and it's not working for you, then go back to your previous setup.
The longer answer to your problem
I've been using this ROM since it was released (this is my backup device) and have never experienced any excessive battery drain, and so I don't believe your problem arises from an inherent flaw in the ROM itself. We all use our phones in different patterns and with different application combinations, which makes it hard to replicate one phone's performance on another phone.
You might try this kind of approach. Flash the ROM and the pico gapps again. Don't add any other apps at this stage. Charge the battery to 100%, switch off wifi and bluetooth and leave the phone on overnight wiithout using it. Note the loss of charge after 8 hours. Repeat the procedure several times to see if you are getting a consistent result. Next, do this again with wifi and bluetooth on. The result of all this will establish some kind of baseline.
Now try using the phone with this minimum set of apps for a few days, remembering to switch off wifi and bluetooth when you are not using them. If you find that the phone is behaving consistently, start adding apps one at a time (say one a day) and observe the result. Vary your patterns of use and record the results.
When you have done all this, come back and give us your findings, in detail. If you are prepared to use alpha ROMs it means that you are a software tester, and this is what software testers do.
Posting, "the battery is draining SOO fast". helps nobody (particluarly bauner) to help you, and makes you look like a fool. And, please, never ever finish a post with the "grumpy" emoticon - developers giving their free time to help you do not appreciate it.
Have a nice day.
