I noticed such a bug, sometimes the programs stop working (USSD Dual Widget Pro_1.0.25.1, YouTube Vanced 13.12.57), cleaning the data and the cache of these programs does not help, only the installation of these programs on the top is not allowed. With other programs, there are no such problems.

stuck on boot up animation

The phone was turned on while it was plugged in and charging (I read here before that someone had boot up problems while charging). It did boot up, but it didn´t recognize the sim card. So I tried rebooting and then it stuck on boot up animation. Tried few times, even from the recovery, but with no success.
Any ideas how to solve this?
Or flashing the ROM again is the only way to go?

You can try to wipe the dalvik-cache and the cache partition n the recovery.


If it will not help you can try to flash the rom zip file again (only the rom zip file without the gapps).


If this should also not work you can try a factory reset.


If nothing will help you should do a complete clean installation (factory reset +format /system +flash rom +flash gapps )

When I flashed the ROM, ONLY KitKat Apps can work. For example, DU Recorder works on Lollipop or above, but On Oreo I can't install it. Does that mean you can download an app on a lower Android, but not on the higher one?! Play store also said the app is not compatible with my device on this ROM, but I can install DU Recorder on Lineage 13.

Also, After flashing ROM, I will flash GApps. It wrote' GApps not compatible with 4.4 KitKat. Please install another GApps.' It wrote '4.4 KITKAT' OK? YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN NOW!!!!!?????

Hmmm. I got also the same problem but it says 5.1.x for me but i just ignore and flash the gapps again and it works. About the app maybe it is not yet supported on oreo.

Which GApps did you flashed? This ROM supports the "pico" version of GApps ONLY. Try to clean install the ROM (Factory Data Reset > Advanced wipe > Wipe system > Flash ROM > Flash GApps). Tell me if it works.

No I flashed pico gapps.

And also I have tried flashing KitKat gapps but it worked

IDK if it is really Oreo, but I upgrade the phone because jelly bean can't install some apps. If the Android version is higher but can't install it's apps, why should I use it and not use RR and Lineage Nougat ROMS???

Please don't troll, this is absolutely Oreo, don't think this Dev is a clown, he write rock-solid code.
IDK if and why KK gapps worked for you but this isn't an official lineage, so you will not find anything about device support on lineage website.

Dude. Before doing unnecessary blaming that a Rom isn't actually Oreo just cause you can't install Oreo Apps from the Play Store at least do some research.
1. First of all, linegeosrom.com is an unofficial website hosted by third-parties (Not the original LineageOS Devs) which does probably NOT list all available Oreo Roms for all Devices since that would be a tremendous amount of work to keep track of all the Official and unofficial ROMs. Also, this is an UNOFFICIAL ROM BASED ON LINEAGEOS so it wouldn't end up on any official ROM List or any LineageOS List anyway.
2. Second of all if I am not mistaken the Google Play Store doesn't look for the Firmware your Device is running but instead looks up the Device ID (In this case Galaxy Note 1) and since the last official firmware for this was 4.1.2 i think it will only show apps compatible with that. You can still install apps that need 8.1 but you'll have to install those with the package manager through an APK File. That's the reason why some devices got disguised build.prop files so that they can install more apps than they were supposed to (I think this is a common practice with Nvidia Tegra 2 devices since those are missing some things and you can only get some apps by spoofing it to be a Nexus Phone)

It may be that my second point about how the Play Store works is mistaken but you can also just check the system for security flaws that were present in Android 7.1 and were fixed in 8.1. Or if you want it easier just compare the Settings->System Menu of an Android 7.1 ROM to that of this 8.1 ROM and you will see a clear difference in Design.

Oh sorry for blaming this ROM wrongly. I am just a noob. And also I am on 4.0.4 ICS firmware before flashing. Thx for telling me.

P.S. I install DU Recorder from .APK file but it didn't work.

Hope Mr. Developer can finish developing this ROM for N7000! :laugh:
