Hello,
I'm on cm13.0-20170204 on my GT-N7000. Should I just follow Updating If you are running an earlier NightOwl cm15.1 alpha version without wiping data and system? Or I must update to cm14 first? If so, what procedure should I follow please?
Thank you

I followed Updating If you are running an earlier NightOwl cm15.1 alpha version.
When I try to flash the ROM, it end up with :
- detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/mmcblk0p9
- Patching system image unconditionally...
- E1001 : Failed to update system image.
- Updater process ended up with ERROR : 7
- Error installing zip file '/sdcard0/Nightowl-lineage15.1-beta2-n7000.zip

Help please. Thank you

Thank you, however it failed there with many many many many errors (143 I think).

Near the end it has a few "/dev/block/mmcblk0p12" lines saying it "couldn't find tzdata when looking for posixrules!", "couldn't find any tzdata when looking for GMT0BST ,M3 .5 .0 ,M10 .5 .0 !", "UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY ; RUN fsck MANUALLY . (i.e. , without -a or -p options).

And "FATAL: file system errors in partition#12 'preload' (HIDDEN) could not be automatically fixed (try running 'e2fsck -f /dev/block/mmcblk0p12').

I've checked the lanchon repit and it's MD5 works out. I'll try again

You have a filesystem error on your /preload partition.
You have 2 options to fix it.
1. in twrp go to advanced->terminal and type
Code:
e2fsck -f /dev/block/mmcblk0p12
and press enter

After the filesystem check is done you can try to repartition again

2. you can try to rename the repartition zip file from
Code:
lanchon-repit-20170115-system=1536M+keep-data=6G+keep-sdcard=max+keep-preload=same+keep-n7000.zip
to
Code:
lanchon-repit-20170115-system=1536M+keep-data=6G+keep-sdcard=max+keep-preload=same+wipe+ext4-n7000.zip
to format the /preload partition (which is not needed for my rom) in the repartitioning process

In your case you need to follow
If you are running a custom Kitkat(4.4) or newer Rom:

Thank you very much for your answer. I have fixed the problem by wiping everthing exept sdcard0. Then I started the process from the first step of the tutorial and all went smooth.

Thank you again.

I currently don't know why you will get the paystore error.

The security messages are from the new lineage trust app. They are normal in the current rom
It true in trust menu i see selinux status is disable.
And i can't download chrome , line , some game in app store too. error 491
I am in beta 2 rom.
And i can't downnload file with rom browser and firefox android.

but i fix by download chrome , line and other error app from other site in pc and install it by apk files directly.

Thanks Bauner!
It's been years since I last flashed a ROM on the N7000 (gave it to my mother). I had reacquired it back and though it didn't age well (chrome faded, power button dead etc.), I was happy it still has active and healthy development, immediately rooted, flashed your Night Owl Nougat ROM and will be trying this one now.

The ROM I understand is still in Beta. Would you suggest using optimization, entropy apps to speed it up a little? I used to use HEBF or similar apps for boosting entropy.

Uninstalled HEBF, seems to make t slower.

Also, do I need to stick to TWRP with this ROM or can I reflash Philz after?

How to repartition your device:
Because of partition size limitations you need to repartition your device to fit the rom together with gapps on the /system partition.
My example repit file (in the Downlodas section) will also enlarge the /data partition because the default size is to small for android 5+ if you want to install some apps.

Lanchon has made a tool which makes it possible to repartition your device in the recovery without loosing your data
https://github.com/Lanchon/REPIT

You need to have a working TWRP Recovery (CWM and Philz will not work)!
Make sure that you have at least 5GB free space on your internal sdcard0 before you start!
Make sure that your battery is charged and connect your device to the charger because repartitioning can take some time!
Installing the repit zip from the sdcard will fail the first time (because the sdcard is in use and can't unmounted) but the file gets copied to /tmp in this step.
After this select the repit zip to install from /tmp again and it should work

Is there any way I can create my own partition sizes?
I would like a bigger /system.
I am fine with smaller /data, I barely use it.

I have already answered your recovery question in the 14.1 thread

How can I update when I am on Beta2? Is it necessary to flash recovery-twrp3.1.0-build2-isorec-n7000.zip and lanchon-repit-20170115-system=1536M+keep-data=6G+keep-sdcard=max+keep-preload=same+keep-n7000.zip?
if you already on beta2 and you have repartitioned your device earlier you only need to flash the rom zip file

yes @haveyouseenthisboi is right you only need to rename the repit zip file to your needs.
but why do you want to have a bigger as 1,5gb /system partition?

Yes just rename the file number ex system=2 you can make it system=3

Thank you.
The intention is to flash the Aroma GApps package.

Anyways, I followed your instructions, named the file:
"lanchon-repit-20170115-system=3G-data=same-sdcard=max-preload=min+wipe-n7000.zip"

Flashed the first time, got an error, file got moved to tmp.

Now after I flashed from tmp, I got another error (screenshot attached).

If anyone knows if there's a known fix, please let me know.
Otherwise leave it, it's not really a big issue.

Fixed the issue by renaming the file to:

"lanchon-repit-20170115-system=3G-data=same-sdcard=max+wipe-preload=min+wipe-n7000.zip".

Basically added the wipe parameter to the sdcard so that fixed the issue.

Thank you for keeping the Note alive, bauner.

It's amazing that beta 3 got 500+ downloads, a lot of people seem to be still using this device.
