Hey! Thank you for another awesome rom Civiato. Im excited to try this since ive been using your kikat version for a very lobg tme. I did try to follow your step but im having a bit of a problem here. What i did is, install the lolipop boot loader using odin, full wipe my device after back up (cache system and data) and install the rom. Then i encounter prblem which starts with "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" error message while booting up and the second one is i cannot pass the samsung lolipop flash screen. I can boot twrp and it seems the problem is with my cache and data which is i cannot mount. I did try to reinstall the rom again without any wipe and still cannot get pass the samsung flash sceen. Any inputs will be much appreciated and good thing is i got my whole day today to get this beast up and running again. Tia
Sounds like you're coming from CM12? I had to wipe EVERYTHING & do a Factory Reset wipe before I could go from a CM ROM back to this, even when I was restoring a backup. I always get a problem with the cache being dismounted, but after fiddling around for a bit I always get it working. I believe it has to do with the partitions.

@civato Just wanna say how much I appreciate your continued work and development for this tablet. Seems like youre the only active one on the Samsung end and it should be noted.

Although I still have issues that im pinpointing to some malfunction on my end that prevents me from using it as a daily driver, Im jealous of all the people who dont have my problem. It really is a kick ass Rom. Fast and snappy. major props

Thanks for the response! i'm coming from KK version of Civ's ROM. I somehow manage to mount the Data after few attempts of full wipe. Now i'm havng error message that my device is not rooted. Will flash the ROM again and Let's see where it gets me.

Manage to boot up the device now and yeah the gapps is not included. Did Tyr to install the latest twrp and full wipe at leaSt 4x, manage to mount partition and the ron successfully boot up

Can't get pass the initial setup screen. Wanted a clean start and wiped everything. Error is Google play services stopped as well as gapps. Trying 3rd time now

Ok.here is what I did to get past the setup error. When prompt to connect to Wi-Fi. Skip the step. And skip all other Samsung account setup. Open up Samsung browser and Then search for gapps 5.0x from Android.

Download the minimal edition, reboot into recovery, install it and that's it. All up and running. Now you can connect to Wi-Fi, setup the Google account. Hope it helps.

Ok so I dirty flashed v1.8 over v1.7 and no longer had any issues with Google Play Services upon startup. Everything seems to be running very smoothly as well.

Civato, just an FYI I'm on 1.8 running the 1.5 kernel and tried VPN again but was unsuccessful. Besides that this ROM is solid and I'm loving it. Thank you again for your builds. Your work is very much appreciated!

You kick ass, civato. I loaded the kernel up and was able to connect to VPN successfully, first shot. Great work! I really appreciate the help. Verified Logitech keyboard is still working as well. Thanks again!

I've been using Rev1.9 of the ROM with v1.7 of the kernel for days now and it's been absolutely flawless. Especially over this past weekend I used it so much I needed to charge every day. This ROM is rock solid. Great work, civato. Thank you for keeping our tablets up to date!

I dont know if this is the same WiFi issue that was brought up before, but ive been having wifi data drops randomly since the update. The wifi icon will still be there and show activity but no traffic activity. My wifi will be working fine but if I click a link on Chrome/Native Web Browser/Tapatalk or whatever, nothing happens, just hangs and says I have no internet connection.

Also, when downloading large files, I notice on the traffic indicator the speed sporatically drops and doesnt get as fast as when I was on KK. I download the same file on my other devices and its ok. IDK whether something went wrong when flashing the rom or what. Do I need to dirty flash it again?
I THINK ive isolated the problem.

I had force installed Whatsapp on the tablet and always restored the data via Tibu inbetween rom flashes. Well now I know theres a reason you cant install the app via playstore and its not supposed to be for tablets lol

I literally went through all my apps I typically restore and have been testing this rom for a week now and when I restore my whatsapp backup, the wifi problem happens. There is still other apps im still testing out to see what happens if I restore them but just wanted to let people who have similar problems know it MIGHT be due to tibu restores.

Im so glad I figured this out, rom is pretty sick.

This is just driving me crazyyyyyyy. I've been trying to install this rom since last month but I keep meeting the black screen. I give up then try again in a week or so or when a new update is available in the hopes that it will work this time. GAAAAH. I was on hyperdrive and tried updating flashing lollipop bootloader via odin. Updated to cm12.1 and that worked fine. So since i was on lollipop tried updating again...NO LUCK. O well. Now I've read people posting that just download lollipop boot loader from sammobile but I am a little scared of downloading the wrong thing and then messing up my tab. So guide me people.....lol. I usually don't post and just live in the shadows. But would like some advice.

I think flashing the LP Bootloader is mandatory for this rom. Theres a link in the first or second post for the one needed. That might be your problem.

Finally.....mission frikin impossible. Like someone mentioned couple pages ago. Manually go into download mode and then it will stick. I noticed when I was going in download mode from power menu or from recovery it never showed Knox or anything in upper left hand corner. But the download screen was there. Once I manually booted into download mode it was there and I knew it will work. So people who are having black screen issue try this. I am sure this will fix it......at least it did for me.
The ROM itself is amazing man. Fast, no bugs. Lollipop. What else could a guy ask for. Thanks to the dev.
