Wow, another ROM for our beloved device! And CM 12.1 based! Can it be flashed over pershoot's unofficial CM 12.1 or does it need a full wipe?

I would at least wipe /system /dalvik and /cache. Leaving your Data partition intact should be fine. Be prepared to wait a bit. The first boot can take a bit while ART compiles the apps. It almost seems like it's stuck in a boot loop, but give it a few minutes (sometimes 5 minutes) then it will optimize the apps and boot. I've come from pershoots cm-12.0 and cm-11.0 just by wiping /system,/dalvik, and /cache multiple times so far with no issues. Your Mileage Will Vary of course. If you have issues, Full wipe and go from there. AND OF COURSE DO A FULL NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE YOU PROCEED! ;)

New Build up!

Got the alarm/ringtone bug squashed. Thanks to @aclegg2011 from the T-Mobile LG G3 subforum for pointing out the correct commit that fixed the issue. And thanks to @lj50036 for directing me to the logcat after chasing my tail around after building with the commit and updated sources to find that I had a corrupted apk that was keeping me thinking that the commit wasn't sticking in my builds. :silly:

Ran an AnTuTu benhmark. Scored a 35512. I ran the test with the tablet fully configured, with all my apps installed some background apps running. I feel that this is a truer test of the tablet's benchmark. Performance under real-life conditions, not pristine out of the box conditions.

Okie Dokie.

Found what was up with the Nav Rings not working. Kind of silly actually. Seems that the default setting was for them to be disabled.

To fix this goto Settings / Bliss Interface / Navigation Options/ Navigation Bar and choose Enable Navigation Rings.

I'll look into setting this back to enabled by default.

New Build Up!

Sync'ed to TeamBliss 6/17 source. Removed some redundant audio settings. Minor settings changes. AnTuTu score of 32675.

I removed the AudioFX package and settings configuration in favour of the Viper4Android package. V4A has quite a bit more flexibility than CM's AudioFX, at least IMHO.

I removed the link to the OTA package for the time being since we are not "official" (YET!). All it did was give you a false notification of a new update. I'm still working on getting our device official status. So far no response from TeamBliss. Keeping my fingers crossed that they are just busy. If I don't hear from them in a decent time frame I'll look into implementing my own OTA update system. No promises, but I'll see what I can do. In the meantime if you go to Settings / Bliss Interface / Bliss Downloads, there is a link to the unofficial downloads. That link will take you to the AndroidFileHost page to download the ROM directly to your tablet so you can flash in recovery.

On that same settings page I added a support link to the one for TeamBliss. Now there is one for your Maintainer (me  ). So if you're feeling generous tap away. There are also links to a couple of GApps packages. One endorsed by TeamBliss and an alternative. In the next build I'll add a link to my AFH folder for the GApps packages I have listed in the OP.

I'll keep the ROM up to date with the TeamBliss source code, so there will be frequent builds. Not quite nightly, but at least weekly. TeamBliss makes quite a few changes, updates and improvements. I'll be adding my own bits and pieces too. Feel free to suggest any features as well. But do keep in mind that I'm still learning this as I go. I'm not an expert, yet. ;)

With that I'll leave all to it, go download and experience BlissPop!!!

I'm trying to install this rom from CWM 6.0.4.7 and no matter what I do it fails to install.

I get E:Error in /data/media/0/download/blisspop-v3.5-tf701t-unofficual-20150617-1948.zip (Status 0) Installation aborted.

Any ideas why it wont proceed? I've downloaded the rom and some others and I get the same result.
Hrmmmm. I seem to remember this issue and having to deal with it when I first got my tf701. Though I can't find the posts. Try moving the ROM to the internal memory and installing from there.

OR

If you ARE installing from the internal memory, move it to an external sd card. Looking at the error a bit more makes me think that you might be doing just that.

Sorry. Not much help at the moment. I'll keep digging for an answer.

OK, I was able to get TWRP 2.8.6.0 and when I image a rom I get "E:Error executing updater binary" and the rom never installs

I noticed the bootloader im running is "ww_epad-10.6.1.14.4-20130329" A03. Maybe that has to do with it. Know how I can update to the latest bootloader using fastboot or twrp?

Here's a recovery flashable WW 11.4.1.29 package that sbdags made. It'll also flash back CWM, but you can flash TWRP back again if you'd like after the bootloader updates.

HOLD THE PHONE!!!!!

Reading another one of your posts in another thread, you indicated you have a TF700. So NO. None of this will work for you.

If you are interested I do have a BlissPop build for the TF700. Though I don't own a TF700 myself so it is untested.

I look foward to seeing blisspop's new builds, because 17-6 build's battery is not very good, tablet becomes hot after 20min playing Asphalt 8. Anyway, awesome ROM

Btw, why don't you open a thread for TF700t's Blisspop so that more people can try it out, and I want to know what it's base on, tks so much.

I'll have a build out in a couple of days. Took some time off to spend with family.

I've always been chasing good battery life with my tablet. It has never been stellar but not dismal. I usually get about 8 hours of Screen On Time and about 12 hours of standby time. I don't usually play games so I don't have any apps to tax the CPU to test over heating. Though I do notice from time to time the top left corner does get warm, but not too worrisome so. Something to keep an eye on I guess.

BlissPop has a CyanogenMod base with bits of AOSP, LiquidSmooth, Vanir, Validus and of course TeamBliss's own customizations. It is a really nice ROM. I run it on my LG G3 and my TF701.

As for opening aTF700 thread, I don't own a TF700 so I don't really feel comfortable directly releasing a TF700 build on a regular basis since I have no way to test each build. I would at the least have to have someone to test each build before it was released. Unless someone has a spare laying around they would want to donate to the cause. ;)

Wow cool nice job & f2fs???

First things first...Thank you, this is an awesome job porting Blisspop to our TF701.
Everything went smoothly, no issues at all.
I wiped everything, flashed Blisspop, flashed "gapps-5.1.x-20150404-minimal-edition-signed.zip" (by jajb BTW), rebooted & WOW!!!
My only issue is that I am still finding settings & options that i have never seen in a customrom that didn't have at least Xposed or a custom theme installed so that is a great problem to have IMO! SO>>> Thank you again

NOW FOR THE TF700...
as I blindly got ready to flash Blisspop on my tf700 I realized that I have been using F2FS on my /data partition for so long I forgot that it might be worth checking its compatability with Blisspop first. This may be a good reason to create its own thread too. Next, since my first thought was that F2FS is probably not yet compatable and that is about the only question I would attempt to answer ... I would be willing to bet the ASUS Kernel Guru; _that as well as hardslog would able to get that question resolved instantly. Also sbdags & any of the other team members should be able to provide some expertise in this matter as well as address any other potential issues. Sorry for the rambling but it is always nice to see some new interest in rom building in the small but IMO underated Asus Tablet World.

As always a big, huge, large Thank You to the best support team in the galaxy; sbdags, lj50036, pershoot, _that, hardslog, dasunsrule32, many names I can't remember although i never forget berndblb & LetMeKnow.
Good job & Good luck!!! :good: :cowboy:

I'm glad that the only major issue you had was wading through all the customizations. ;) That is what drew me to BlissPop. With the backed in customizations I had no dire need for xposed and with the current status of xposed for Lollipop that is a good thing.

As for f2fs compatibility, I'd like to see it implemented in TWRP first before I begin to dig into it in the rom. I'm still learning the Android ropes and my linux skills are rusty. I've been out of the field for nearly 20 years.

And I wholeheartedly agree that without all the great devs mentioned we wouldn't have nearly as much fun, enjoyment and functionality out of our devices that we do.

And with all that said:

New Build Up!!
