[ROM][LP 5.1.1_r24] [ KatKiss - Lollipop #030c ] [MultiWindow]

I have a GSkill 64GB micro SD card. It won't show up and get recognized. I tried multiple File Explorer apps. It showed up fine in TWRP 2.8.1.1 (I installed this custom rom via TWRP which is on this SD card). I did the factory reset and flashed per instructions. Everything else is solid. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Try formatted it to exFat it might read it then. I've only had luck with 32GB sdcards with this tablet but I do remember someone saying that they got a 64GB sdcard to work with this tablet.

I'll give that a shot (or verify it's formatted that way), but the stock ROM as well as other custom ROMS allowed this same SD card to work without issue. Was hoping it was a simple fix.

- i have tried using AFWALL+

...but unfortunately it does install and seem to configure ok but when wifi is turned on , no app given internet access through it works ie can connect tot the internet and when turned off then internet access works ok

Any comment or assistance please or if others are using any other firewall successful please let me know :good:

Interestingly i too have two 32GB micro sd cards, one is recognised by the ROM as well as not recognised via TWRP 2.8.1.1 and the other is not recognised by my TF101 using this ROM and also not recognised by TWRP and they are both the same brand (PNY) and bought from the same place but can use both sdcards ok using my linux and windows.

...i too couldnt figure it out

Try this:
Open Preferences > Binaries > Busybox Binary. Choose “System busybox“

Now open “Firewall Rules“ and Flush Rules“ .

Now “Enable Firewall“ and/or press “Apply“

I didn't get the 64GB card to work, but got a 32GB Sandisk card to work. The 32GB card did NOT work on exFat, but DID work with FAT32. I'm thinking a 64GB card is a bad idea, period.

Everything else seems solid. Nice job!

I am using a 128GB card with FAT32 and works perfect. I formatted it completely on a Windows system.

Happy the 32GB works for you, i havent investigated why one of my 32GB works and another same brand 32GB doesnt ...but good to know that 64GB is not really a good idea:good:

And i too agree, everything else on the ROM is indeed solid, i now have all the apps i need to work on the TF101 ...so indeed very nice job :victory:

Here's the final update on the SD card thing: I got the original 64GB card to work via formatting FAT32 ( http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm ). I don't believe this is an issue with the TF101 HW since the 64GB exFAT card works fine with the TWRP Recovery (I had this Custom ROM on the 64GB card, exFAT and loaded it onto my tablet). Thanks for all the help guys, and again, great ROM!!

I would like to give big thanks to the DEV for keeping the old and reliable TF101 up to date. After a year or more in a drawer, I pulled out the TF101 and flashed this latest ROM as my daughter wanted something to play games on during family trips (besides her phone). Everything running smooth and instructions for installation are spot on. Battery life seems to be pretty good as well.

Hoping for continued support.

Not true. I have 64 gig formatted ext4
Works perfect and allows larger than 4gig files.

You are correct. I was going to make a note about the ext3 and ext4 options, but as most users have no real knowledge of them I chose not to introduce potential confusion.

It's booting, but still having issues and crashing before it completes the graphical parts.
I've added the previous different neon / non-neon tests though,
but there's still some neon code slipping in that I have not figured out yet.

@timduru have you identified the root cause for the random reboots on the tf101g.

I still have lot of random reboots while tablet is sleeping.

Is there a way I can help ? Really do not want to revert to 4.4.4. Once you go lollipop ....

Hi @timduru I've been using your great ROMs for years and they're great but I can't get this latest one working correctly. It boots fine but I can't update any application from the play store. It gives me error 963 each time. Anyone experiencing the same problem?

No asshole at all! I'm glad you helped me. I've obviously read the instructions. The problem was that I've done a data wipe instead of formatting the data partition. I thought it was the same, my fault. Thanks again. Waiting for marshmallow now...
