I've tried RR in my Nexus 4. It performs quite well and stable. Sadly, there is no port for my tilapia so I do it myself.
This is an unoffical experimental build of ResurrectionRemix_LP for the Nexus 7(2012). :)
Lastest Android 5.1.1_r2 (LMY48B).

Tips:
1. The rom is rooted with CM's su. Root control is in the advance menu of privacy guard. (App Opts)
The # status (which can be disabled) will be shown when an app is gain root access

2. The defaut lcd density is 213 which can be modified in "Display Settings".
The screenshot shown above is at 181 DPI

I've been hoping that someone would bring this excellent rom to grouper/tilapia ever since jellybean. I've been "dirty" porting it from the Nexus 7 (flo) Lollipop builds for my own use on grouper. Matter of fact, I just finished porting flo version 5.3.5 but I just now found your thread and this is much, much better.:D

Btw, maybe also a thread in grouper forum would be a good idea. :)

Thank you very much,
Mike T

So flashed this last night.... Had a few issues with my recovery partition but that was pre-flash.

All is sweet. The Gapps package didnt work so used one from my other Remix build. Maybe corrupt download.

Thanks again sir. Will keep you posted on bugs.

Thanks for the new release! Version 5.3.7 has been running great on my grouper, now will test version 5.3.8 and then probably sit tight until CM merges in LP 5.1.

Version 5.3.7 was an excellent release, stable with all the great extra features and the addition of being able to make a custom nav button for the power menu. I don't think any other custom rom has that feature yet but then again, I'm not checking/testing many other roms since you started building RR. :D

Thanks again for the great work and a great rom.

Hi guys,

I think I'm gonna try this one, just a little question, if you please: is the bootanimation memory leak workaround for Lollipop already into the ROM or should we copy and paste by ourself?

Thanks a lot! ;)

EDIT: oh and just a suggestion for the OP, maybe this thread should stay into the Nexus 7 section (and not just tilapia one) 'cause it also provide a grouper ROM.. ;)

My first stab at Lollipop with my Tilapia. This ROM did the trick - I use Xposed and after a bit of tinkering got everything working. I used Lean Kernel (modded) to run Xposed and now I am on Lollipop. Will give it a few days to observe but looks good at the moment. Cheers.

I tried most of the (few) ROMs available for tilapia, and even the stock firmware, but this one is the best, mostly for its speed.. Not totally lag free, but quite totally.. So from lag perspective it's very good.
Unfortunately it suffers of wakelocks that keep the device active.. I'm still trying to use the Wakelocks Blocker embedded into the ROM, BTW.. Maybe it will solve this issue..

EDIT
Any suggestion how to solve the baseband_xmm_power issue that keeps the device always on?
Thanks..

Is it possible to install this ROM as ALL-F2FS? In device features puts that supports data and cache.

What if I try to install it on a partition with three partitions on F2FS format?

When installed, the format becomes EXT4 and lose all the data?

I have "Convert To F2FS" Android App but not supports Lollipop 5.x

Thanks for everything

The default governor ondemand makes the system look sluggish. Interactive is much better.
I can't mount usb flash drives(fat32). It kept saying it cannot recognize the filesystem. This might be a CM bug since it happened with CM 12 too.
Edit: Connected another brand of flash drive and it works perfectly. CM doesn't like SanDisk Cruzer Blade :/

very polished and reactive rom, great job mate!
I'm using it since 3 days, with f2fs partition and new kernel and i've found only these issues:
- a lot of error messages related to bluetooth (it stops after ten/twelve errors)
-max kernel frequencies are capped to 1500mhz, even selecting 1600 or 1700 (i'm using trickser mod and fauxapp, synapse not working at all)
-as previously reported by another user, i prefer interactive governor (snappier system)
Ciao!!

Did you install the "super alpha" xposed for 5.1?
I am getting bluetooth crashes too but I am not sure if it is the ROM or Xposed.
I am attaching a logcat with the crashes, hope it helps.

I think I know what's wrong. Will try to fix it in the next build. ;)
