So, yeah. I downloaded the update, wiped data and cache, flashed ROM, then update, and now when I reboot, its sitting at the opening animation....

How long should it be sitting?

I found a possible bug. For some reason in the stock web app instead of dimming before time out, it brightens up then shuts off.

So, yeah. I downloaded the update, wiped data and cache, flashed ROM, then update, and now when I reboot, its sitting at the opening animation....

How long should it be sitting?

You might want to update your instructions then, cause it doesn't say that is necessary.

Downoad both Zips
FULL WIPE(perferebly with charmin ultra - Howtomen)
Flash in Rom in CWM
Flash Updater in CWM
Flash any other addons
Restart & Profit!

thanks found it. have to go into "more" then usb utilities. turn of usb debugging then start "connect storage to PC", it's quite a process

Contacts and Messaging force close as soon as the initial android setup begins.

I full wiped before install. After completing the setup (adding google account and setting time crap) contacts work but messaging icon just shows a red triangle with an exclamation point and FCs if i try and open the app.

Bad flash or is this an issue?

Bad flash I think cuz with full wipe nothing like this has occurred
