Hi guys, I'm fairly new to having my note rooted and currently I'm using the Rocket Rom, just wondered what the process is for me to use this.
i know how to download it and install it onto my sd card, but wondered if i needed to do anything regarding the kernal first?
or can i simply install this then go into recovery, clear everything and then install it?
reason i ask is because i know to install some roms, you need to be on certain kernals before so.
someone please help me as i'd love to use this rom.
it is indeed a lovely rom

if you're worried about the kernel - flash the rom - reboot into recovery without booting the system (advanced menu) - then flash again

this way you're sure to be flashing from a compatible kernel - ie you will be flashing from the kernel that comes with rom

Is there a solution for home button. It's always getting me to the home screen and not with my recent open apps.....
Pull the notification panel down, you will find an "overlapping window" icon on the top-right on the left hand side of the settings icon. Click on it and you are good to go.

The long-press home button technique to bring up recent apps IMHO works only at phone-mode DPIs, like 320 and 240. I think you are either in phablet (213 DPI) or tablet (160 DPI) mode.

Well my problem is different..suppose I'm in a app .. When screen is idle and it automatically turns off after 30 seconds(as I have set it) immediately I press home to light up the screen and continue in the app but instead of staying in the app it always goes to home:(

From 3rd Post.

Download any root explorer and pull them Out From system\etc\customization\content\com\sonyericsson\ wallpaperpicker\wallpapers\<here> And Copy to (Dont Move them) Your Sd card. then u will be done. Apply them from Gallery or album.
