after flashing rom. it is booting into recovery. any solutions?
i just flash cwm recovery given on 1st page with out rooting.
pls give me the solutions

PLEASE Provide your ROM Details /BUILD NUMBER. HOW did you flash it, WHAT Recovery u used to flash, WHAT else did you do after "I just flash the cwm recovery given on 1st page"? WRITE DOWN the detail. How are people gonna provide you solution? By guessing?

i used phils recovery.
rom build number is DLSC
i used phils recovery recommended for this build.
in phils i select wipe to install a new rom.
and installed the rom. but it is keep booting in recovery

In philz recovery :

1. Wipe data factory reset + clean to install new rom.
2. Wipe cache + dalvik cache
3. Format system, cache, data, preload in "mount & storage".
4. Flash Rom, reboot to system and WAIT. This rom takes at least 10 MINUTES for initial boot. Might take 15. A way to check whether it's booting properly is see if your menu n back button lights up. If they light up. Just sit n wait.
5. If needed, try downloading PhilZ-cwm6-XXLTA-ATL-5.15.0-signed.ZIP reboot recovery and do all the steps above. Never failed me even once.

Sadly I can't. Direct download link to philz recovery is Prohibited by him. Search his thread post #3, hit the link with "tw only" written beside it.

Finally flashed the rom. its awesome.
but i got 1 bug.
screen doesnt get locked.
i tried all the options in lock screen. like pattern pin but doesnt work. after pressing the lock button instead of asking pin it directly jump on home screen.
any solution?

I have never used lock screen method other than the default swipe so this is new to me but I suspect it might be due to sony lockscreen, while the options you tried applies to samsung lockscreen. If it's true then you might have to live with it, LOL. Meanwhile try experimenting n report back anything else.

Now that's weird... I have no problem in mine as I did a clean install the first time.. if you would like to take the trouble, reboot to recovery, go to mount & storage, format system, cache n preload n dalvik cache. Then reflash the rom and the Snote simultaneously. Don't worry about losing data coz as long as you don't format data, all your setting and apps will stay intact

1. Yes you can install speedmod kernel.
2. Could you specify how your phone heats up, like what apps are you installing, what were you doing to make the phone heats n such?

It's always advised to let the rom adjusts first after 1st rime flashing for at least 10 min before playing with it. Update me n I'll try to help in anyway I can.

ram usage is more thn normal .....
heats at screen n at camera area

Ahh I see.. but well, HD games do take up more ram n use more data processing functions thus generating heat, that's for sure. Anyway, speedmod and forest helloworld JB do this rom lot of justice. Be sure to check battery as heat usually comes from faulty battery too. Cheers
