I'm currently running the latest build, but I'm thinking about going back to CM12.1 until Marshmallow ROMs have more customizations (custom navbar buttons, extra settings, etc). What all would I need to flash beforehand? I assume an LP bootloader is one (though I don't know which one), but would I also need to flash an LP radio? Anything else?

you dont need to flash a lollipop bootloader nor radio. lollipop runs great with marshmallows bootloader, and you can use whichever radio you want on whichever version of android.

Anyone else not getting notifications in their apps. I'll get them once in a while but 90% of the time I don't get them. Email works texting works but apps like Facebook etc nothing. No I haven't done a clean flash since 4.0 just curious if its just me experiencing this or not.

I found that some of the apps that I restored with Titanium Backup were having notification issues. I went ahead and uninstalled those apps, re-installed from Play Store and then restored just data from Titanium Backup. Once I did this I started getting all of my notifications again. I think this has to do with the new permissions on Marshmallow.

Also, off topic and not rushing or anything. Are we getting that update that supposedly just dropped? Only seen headlines though so I'm not sure what all it entails.

Not asking for eta or hurrying or anything, just the question above.

I will be updating this thread based on the new release tonight. :)

Also, just a side note. I just realized that this marks the 7 year anniversary of building my first android rom. What a long strange trip it's been...
