Can this Rom be installed if you have hboot 2.21 and s-off is not possible? My m4 seems impossible to s-off, so supercid and all the firmware packages seem useless.

This is based on an official (eu) OTA right? So in theory it must be possible for me to get hboot 2.22 and the firmware through a 'legit' way somehow?

I need a complete perfect stock rom and stock-recovery for that am I right? That way I can just keep downloading and running the OTA's till the firmware is done, then flash a custom recovery again to root and / or install another ROM..

Oh ok and is there a real noticeable difference between an odexed rom and a deodexed one?
WHAT IS AN ODEX FILE?

In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These ‘odex’ files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applications difficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.

THEN COMES DEODEX

Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled intoclasses.dex*files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating the worry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.

In summary, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity.

Also every stock ROM I did I used zipalign to even deodexed, doing so enables the Android operating system to interact with the application more efficiently, and hence has the potential to make the application and overall the whole system much faster. Execution time is minimized for zipaligned applications, resulting is lesser amount of RAM consumption when running the APK

If you are stock, non rooted, s-on, locked bootloader I assume, why don't you just update via OTA ?
i updated but all bugs same bugs still here :( so i did a factory reset nothing changed
some one told me that " erase all data " in factory reset could make difference is it right ?

at the end i need an RUU for CID [HTC_J15] or some rom to flash or i will have to root and use costume rom that will give me a bigger bugs i think :crying:
i'm really thinking to get back to 4.3 ! it was great
sorry for bad English:D

I m having touble in streaming and adobe flash player is not installing with a message that device is not compatible.

As far as I know Adobe Flash support has (finally) been removed from the WebView in the 3.10 series (4.4.2 sense 5.5).
From my understanding there were special 'hacks' in place in the Android base to make a plugin like the flash player work. It had very special unlimited permissions to plant itself in different applications.
Support for that has been removed in KitKat, and so HTC has removed support for it in 3.10 (and thus this 4.09 ROM).
Maybe there are hacks to make it work again, but since this ROM is pretty much stock for now it won't work.

edit: There are other reports of it working on random other 4.4.2 devices so maybe there are indeed tricks. Apparently I was talking non-sense :S.Don't know if it ever worked on the mini on 4.4.2?
It's in the HTC Changelog for 3.10 though "Support of Flash Player removed"
