thanks i'll do it. is everything (including debloating and kernel tweaks) reversible by disabling magisk module?
Yes and no ... kernel settings, debloating will be undone.

There are a few settings which I do which will stick, for example, I use gestures instead of the navbar; I set the phone into "dark mode"; I set animation speed to 0; I show battery % in the status bar ... These settings will stay when you revert but you can use the standard settings app to change them again (e.g. to "white" mode, or remove battery % in the status bar, ...).

I will think about an "uninstall" script to rever those as well ... but upcoming week I don't have time. Too much stuff at work going on.

If you want to know what is happening, unzip the module on your PC and look at the file:
system/etc/services.d/LS99execonce

can i use this rom for op7p ?
and one question. hows swipe to home animation doing here? i've tried nova launcher on stock rom but swipe to home doesnt work properly and i the app icon doesn't collapse nicely
Swipe to home and icon lag is a known issue on many 3rd party launchers. So far, only oneplus launcher and rootless launcher seem to do the job perfectly...

I tried it on a oneplus 7t and it flash and start but then the screen would just go blacl and phone unresponsive. I really wanted to give it a shot. But we'll guess it wa worth trying hope you could make one for the 7t. Thanks

Almost impossible as I don't have a 7t device to test.

How was this Magisk module created?

Actually the Magisk module is generated by a bash script (I use linux) starting from the original OnePlus software zips.
The script is attached to this thread. Download the zip file attached and then rename the file by removing the ".zip" extention). You will have a plain Linux bash shell script file. No secrets. Sharing all in the open (which I believe should be the spirit of XDA).
Reuse as you like ...
edit Thanks for the note about removing the zip extension
