First and foremost, thanks for all your help ;)

Perhaps I was not clear enough, but I do not have the free time to take on any kind of support role. Please understand that my sole intention of this thread, was to provide/share a more recent version of PA/CM10 that I have been unable to obtain from anybody else. No offense intended, but I did ask you on several occasions to post a more recent version than the 1.95 you have in your (still existent) thread, and the only response I received was that you didn't have the bandwidth.

I also tried to work through/with kadevil's thread, but he pretty much ignored all the feedback he was getting about the tool not working for PA and JB.

Again, I was looking for a more recent version of PA (1.97+) with a more recent CM10 (8/06+) and was unable to find a working version. I built one that works for me, and wanted to share with anybody else that may be in a similar position...
Well, I didn't want to spoil your thread and said what I thought was necessary. Rest is your decision. I am out of here. :D

And yes, people might feel offended specially when you take help from them, not give any credit and blame them instead. I'm talking about kadavil's tool atleast.

Carry on with your work and good luck. :)

well that wont be a problem? right brajesh?
i din take ur perms sry... so i ask u is it ok for u?
if yes i report it to be merged...

Thanks for taking interest mate but I will prefer thing going the way it is. I am planning to release an stable ICS PA 1.5 and maybe a recent PA 1.99 (I already have PA 1.98 running in my mobile) and then I will be releasing weekly updates as long as the porting is possible. Atleast you know, I dont have enough time to release builds based on every nightly.

your thread about porting and tip about the framework was helpful, and i thanked you in those threads. kadevil's thread did nothing for me (and I still thanked him there).

enough said. not going to get ina pissing match - just wanted to share something iknow others were notable to get elsewhere..

Why did you say I ignored feedback? :(

I tried to help you as much as I could. I acknowledged that it didnt boot using PA and JB but what can I do about it? Its ports ICS PA very well but you haven't seen that. I dont have any knowledge on porting. Just made an automated version of brajesh.sharma's guide using little bit of coding.

You requested for testing my V5 tool and you never reported back until I kept asking in my thread. The tool requires team effort. Brajesh.sharma helped me a lot in the porting field. He had porting knowledge and I had some coding knowledge so we worked together. If my tool had bugs within itself I fix it when users report it. I have got several PMs reporting bugs in my tool and I have replied to all of them and even fixed those bugs and kept updating the tool each time. I haven't ignored even a single PM.

I dont want credits when you make ROM using my tool. I haven't asked for it on my thread either.

Lets end it here, everyone has his own frame of mind. Let people be free and do them whatever they like. You did a great job, and you can blame me that I was not available last week to help you in getting rid of the problems that you faced in your later versions.

The first advise wud be to get a logcat and post here. :D

I really dont understand why some people get bootloop and others dont. Only the logcat can let us know what actually is happening.

The 2nd suggestion is to fix permission via custom recover.

How do I get the adbd server running before the phone boots?? I'm trying to get the output with Eclipse, but it doesn't show anything. Or does the adbds start after a while and the ROM isn't even getting to that??

from terminal on linux or command line windows you must have adb setup first on your computer
type adb logcat
then plug in your phone into pc
and turn it on ....

IDK why but I can't log during boot, adb starts logging only after the phone is completely booted up. There's something I have to change at bootmenu, ROM or adb??
