This roms doesn´t use the stable aosp tags as base like the other custom rom do. Iit uses the aosp master branch as base. It´s the bleeding edge branch from google with the latest and greatest code

What makes the master branch beetter then the stable branches?
You get daily updates and it includes a lot of the stuff the under the hood stuff Android N will feature like the support for clang 3.8 and javac 1.8.
It has the features stock android has + the option to change the statusbar clock (you find it in the clock settings)

What doesn´t work?
Netflix app stucks at the loading screen
Packageinstaller FC if you install an app manually
sms problems for a few users

How to install it?
*Boot into recovery.
*Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
*Flash the Rom
*Flash latest Vendor
*reboot again into recovery
*Flash the Gapps
*First boot may take up to 10 minutes

This is running well, it is a bit finicky on the initial flash/boot, but i expect that from master builds.

For those having trouble with it, make sure you're rebooting recovery after installing the ROM, before you flash any other files. (You can also unmount system after flashing the ROM, then proceed with gapps and su; Seems to have the same results.)

SU is required to flash separately if you want root. Initial boot does in fact take up to 10 minutes. Restoring batches of apps with tibu gave me soft boots and system UI force closes, but google app restore seems to work fine.

Will run for a bit, thanks for the master build.

Update: got a call and had no phone popup to answer it. Nav keys were also unresponsive during the ringing. I did manage to callback from the notification shade, but still didn't get a popup indicating anything, just heard it ringing through speaker.

Settings - Apps - Gear Icon on top right - Default Apps - Phone App. Select your dialer there.

My guess is yo have installed Google dialer from Play Store.

Hmm, I thought that too, but when I checked the defaults it only listed the one phone option. Though to be fair I was experimenting with different gapps packages and different install methods.. I'll check it out again, it may have been one of the previous installs i checked it on, thanks for the tip

Update again: did a fresh install, actually had to install google dialer (and set as default) because it didn't have a phone app.

Should I add back the dialer?
I removed it because the aosp dialer because the dialer in the playstore has new features the aosp one doesn't have like call blocking.

Your call really, could just as easily update the OP with a flashable dialer, or instructions to install one, for those of us that don't flash a gapps package that includes one. Just unexpected.

Hi. I tried open gapps full and pico. Surely full must have the launcher that micro does? Thanks
Yeah they should both have the google now launcher. Do you have leftover layers in vendor/overlays perhaps? I can say rebooting recovery/unmounting system (after ROM install) is definitely part of the required steps, in case you skipped that one. I know you said you followed the directions, though.

Beyond that, I'm out if ideas :/
