i checked delivery status on my note 7 and it went from 18-19th as shipping to between the 23rd and the 6th of september. i hope it comes sooner then that but thats what it is saying atm

Just an FYI, concerning Note 7, S7E has root, roms and updates already so how could there be an issue with Note 7? It is my understanding they are pretty much the same when it comes to software base, yes? AEL has root and roms in their forum...so I believe we will see the same for N7.

From what I've read, every carrier has locked bootloader. So in order to use a rom on your device, you'll need to purchase an international version of s7e.

When did you do your pre-order??? I did mine on the 4th and just checked T-MO and it shows my ETA at the 18-19th still...

Alright please do not butcher me too many pages and not in much of a reading mood...LOL.....been M.I.A since v1.9 came out, which I am running.
Can I dirty flash v2.4 or do I need to update to the v2.0 base first?

epe3 and epg2 differences are supposedly only a security update.
if you want latest BB and BL then odin epg2 but this is not necessary for either version. you must at minimum be on epe3. now as stated in install instructions if you flash 1.5.1 or 1.5 you will have overlay issues no matter what so you must also flash the overlay fix. flash it right after rom install. boot and setup rom, then reboot make a backup and flash the 2.4 update. if you do not flash the overlay fix your going to have overlay issues so flash it. it is not needed for 2.0 or 2.0.1 as the epe3 base these versions are based on does not have the overlay issue, the overlay issue only affects the epg2 based versions which is 1.5 and 1.5.1.

now if you flash 2.0.1 and then 2.4 update and after awhile want to update your BB and BL you can do this with the correct odin files. which i am sure can be found in the note 4 t-mo forum somewhere.

Note : if i unistall xposed framework, the phone boot just fine.

I am on 2.0.1 base with 2.3 update

OD, Thank you so much (again!) for all your work. We're lucky to have someone like you.

I did a complete wipe and install of version 2.4 per the OP instructions.
I have a couple of questions if anyone can answer? Hope so...

1st: Sometimes the notification count and tops of the icons in the launcher are cut off. (see the picture). Is this something i'm doing? It doesn't hurt anything, but if I can do something to help it out, I'd gratefully do so.

2nd: I installed and used version 1.5 (I think?) and when I placed my calendar icon on the home screen, the DATE would update automatically and follow the correct date. I have now installed version 2.2 (after a clean wipe/install) and when I place the icon on the home screen it always stays at date "31". Is there a setting or something I'm missing that allows the date to change correctly? Again, it doesn't hurt to have it stay at 31, but if I can make it work, I will!

3rd: Over the years, I have placed pictures along with my contacts in google contacts/mail. I "THINK?" when google circles came around, ALLLLLLL of my contact pictures were reduced to tiny little circles on a big blurry background of the same picture. I hated this, but assumed there was nothing I could do about it (see the attached picture). Now, all of a sudden with this recent install of OD's great work, a FEW of my contacts now have the big picture again! (see the attached picture). >I< didn't change or do anything to any of my contacts YET a few changed! I really would want the bigger pictures as opposed to the small circles. Is this something associated with OD's ROM, or something else? In any case, does anyone know how I can make all the pictures go back to the "full sized" version as opposed to the small circles? (please please)

4th: This should probably go to the page/web site of the fine person who made "potato clock" but if it's OK, I'd like to ask here... Is there any way to make the size of the clock bigger AND/OR make the date size smaller? My eyes are older now and I'd like to zero in on a bigger clock size easily, and then look harder to find the smaller date, as opposed to both date and time being the same size? Just curious... (thank you in advance)

5th and last: Is there any way to give the various icons in the notification bar different colors? Such as the WiFi icon, BlueTooth icon, text icon, email icon, up/down data icon, signal bar icon? I could do it in a ROM from long time ago so just wondering if I could do it now?

If your going to do anymore updates and if its not too time consuming...you had done a mod while back and changed the stock toggles in the notification panel. I thought it was kool. If its possible to incorporate that into this rom I would appreciate it. If its too time consuming nevermind. Once again thank you for the battery mod. ?

If the CAN one is the 820 and unlocked but the US 820 is locked no development.

The international version is exynos, if ours is 820 no development.

Either way Canadians are screwed.

Yeah I pre order from Sammy but that be at full price, was hoping for an upgrade thru Telus but they still have nothing on their site. I think it will be the exynos without locked bootloader like the s7edge is. Which has decent development and OvrDrive did say will help if the case

All reports now are saying 820.

Id rather have exynos for a few reasons but even if the 820 is unlocked we will be the odd ball device as everyone else will have exynos or 820 but locked.

Its frustrating and I haven't been this excited about a device in awhile.

Already bought a case and a new 128gb Sd card lol
