Could the firmware cause bricks for anyone who isn't on 401 (HTC__001) firmware?
E.g I am using T-Mobile UK firmware with HBOOT 2.13, but changed my CID to HTC__001. Wondering if it is a risky move.
modelid: PJ4010000
modelid: PJ4011000
modelid: PJ4012000
modelid: PJ4013000
cidnum: VODAP***
cidnum: VIRGI***
cidnum: T-MOB***
cidnum: TIM__***
cidnum: TELST***
cidnum: TELEF***
cidnum: ORANG***
cidnum: O2___***
cidnum: BOUYG***
cidnum: H3G__***
cidnum: HTC__***
multiple cid's and model id's are supported in this firmware package
supported mid and cid (from android-info.txt):
Code:modelid: PJ4010000 modelid: PJ4011000 modelid: PJ4012000 modelid: PJ4013000 cidnum: VODAP*** cidnum: VIRGI*** cidnum: T-MOB*** cidnum: TIM__*** cidnum: TELST*** cidnum: TELEF*** cidnum: ORANG*** cidnum: O2___*** cidnum: BOUYG*** cidnum: H3G__*** cidnum: HTC__***
Don't worry it was tested on 5 different devices from different regions. No bricks or whateverStill praying that it doesn't brick. This is my second One S after I flashed a modded HBOOT (lol)
The sight of the phone switching off from the RUU screen never to turn back on again has scarred me for life.
CongratulationsIt was long time ago since i felt my heart beating fast during download and boot time moments !Bluetooth and wifi teethering works !!
