[ROM][MAY 1 / RE-UPLOADED] Slim Sense v6.6 .6 / 1.50.531.1 / Stock Rooted / NO BLOAT

So far, the battery life on this rom seems to be just as good or better than a bloat-frozen stock rom.

I haven't messed with my phone a WHOLE lot today, but I've listened to some music, had about 20 mins of phone calls, sent about 15 texts, and streamed some bluetooth audio for about 1/2 an hour. It's been off the charger since 11:30am & it's still at 73%. I'm impressed. I do have a Chichitec battery though, so I wouldn't expect such results with the stock battery. I also wiped my battery stats.

   Is some sort of HTC Function Test program. Wasn't sure what it affected so I left it alone.
   
7. I noticed you left TrimIt.apk and MySketcher.apk, was wondering what these two did? I assume the first is the Ringtone Trimmer app, not sure about the second.
   
   Trimit.apk is the ringtone trimmer, since it's only 108kb, I figured no point in removing.
   MySketcher.apk I believe is to edit the screen captures, which I've never figured out how to use anyways. This is also only 36kb so no real harm leaving it installed.
   

Thanks for the info. Like I said in the edit, both the Talk and Marketing apps work perfectly fine. I removed the swmc.apk and I haven't encountered any issues. I haven't removed TrimIt.apk or MySketcher.apk, but can if anybody wants.

It works for me, but force closes when I stop recording. The videos do get saved & are playable afterward though.

Download HTCCamera.apk in OP. (move to /system/apps, change permissions to rw-r--r--, reboot. Fixed)

Hes no troll, hes just joking im sure, or he booted the rom and noticed no difference and was trying to make that point by asking the OP to add the stuff back..

Having run this rom for a while now, I just wanted to come back and give feedback.

-The static on my screen since I bought my phone is gone. I noticed that it disappeared/stopped whenever I would flash a rom other than stock Sense UI, but this stripped Sense UI also fixes it. I guess it was one of the bloat running in the background causing it?

-The rom feels smoother and lighter even with stock kernel. It's certainly quicker even after it has been on for days without a reboot.

-With my Evo 3D battery, I have had my phone last 11-12 hours with heavy usage. Before with stock Sense UI, I had to recharge within 8 hours and sometimes even 4 hours. Today, though is the second day (36+ hours) and I still have 22% or so. Since it's the weekend and I use my phone moderately and not using my phone's radio since WiFi is on the entire time.

To those looking forward to roms like CM7 and waiting this is definitely the cleanest one, with no other customization, out there. It makes a great in-between rom until CM7 comes. And if you like Sense UI, this is the rom to have, period. At least you have a choice which bloatware to install back rather than have no choice and live with them all even if you only want one.

i found the where to put it, but i can put audio files in the folders, keep getting move error, ive tried using es explorer and astro.
