Sorry man I must have went to the wrong thread, I'm pretty positive that Iiinstalled the Verizon version of it. But I tried a few modems and always get the status 7 error, and in apn settings it doesn't allow me to edit them (sorry if this is something simple I've never had a similar problem) if you guys can point me in the right direction that would be awesome any advice is appreciated.

You're still in the sprint thread. If you installed the vzw version you need the modem from that thread. Instructions are in the op. Should be no need to mess with apn

I know I'm in the sprint thread now but I was asking you guys since you already had helped me a bit but no I was saying I've already tried those modems and it's still the same error. I didn't know if you saw but I don't have a Verizon phone either, that's what I'm trying to figure out is how to fix my data, I would just restore my cwm from my stock rooted Rom but for some reason it restores and then never boots just stays at the Samsung screen. I thought it was because of the Android secure error but that's only if you have apps on the SD right? So that wouldn't be the problem.. I don't think but I'm on alltel and there's absolutely no modems, stock roms nothing at all for alltel online(which is crazy)
any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm on vzw. I don't know anything about alltel. Try doing a full wipe then restore your nandroid. People have had many issues restoring backups from different builds or versions on 4.3. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Whenever this first happened (soft bricked b.s.) lol I tried everything, I mean like every option on the cwm menu and couldn't fix anything but I even tried a few other stock roms and couldn't get anything but the wicked sensations worked and I mean I like my phone how it is, and there's gotta be a fix, I've looked into extracting a modem from let's say my wife's phone, then I could flash it correct? I mean that's what talks to the towers so that's gotta be the issue? I'm thinking. I'm not amazing at all this but I've got like 3 Years experience so somethings gotta come up lol

Okay I remembered that number for when they reset a phone of mine in the past and I've tried dialing it but for some reason only when I dial they specific number it says you need a Sim card and stuff, I also have a notification that says that constantly too, you have any suggestions?

Try taking out your Sim card and waiting 5 minutes and reinserting. It will reset your info. We don't deal with all that dialing to reset crap sprint does. Vzw just pull sim . reinsert. Reboot.

Sorry for not clarifying, alltel doesn't have Sim cards there has to be a way, and I'm glad you guys are at least trying it's still making me wonder what is wrong with my original cwm backup.. Is there any way of extracting the modem from my backup? I used terminal emulator to dump mine onto my SD, it did work. And I put it into another zip file and over wrote the one inside (for some other galaxy s3 modem) and it flashed fine actually so if I got one from an actual working alltel gs3 you guys think i could do the same and flash?

Any ideas guys??

If anybody is still on this build and want to stop the 4.4 update nag, download and flash this modified build.prop in recovery. Be sure to ONLY FLASH THIS ON THE WICKED SENSATIONS 4.1.2 MD4 BUILD. IF YOU ARE ON THE 4.3 BUILD, BE SURE TO CHECK THAT THREAD FOR THE APPROPRIATE ZIP.

Am I missing something? I Romed this phone two days ago and cant find ware to put in the apn settings. never had a sprint phone before so I am a littule clueless but it was cheaper then rip off verision for the same phone.
