This might sound silly compared to the bootloop issues but how do we get the removed apps to work? Copied what I wanted to system/apps with root explorer, no go. Tried installing them thru astro same result.

Permissions for the individual apks need to be changed after you drop them into system/app

has anyone tried a fix permissions script before the looping begins i have seen this with a miui build i had a while back fix it by correcting permissions across the whole rom just something to try before the looping begins. (i ran the 1st ver. until i noticed no tv-out) haven't bothered since but worth a shot i guess.

I ran a fix permissions, rebooted and got stuck in bootloop. Stock wallpapers did not work either, any ideas?

I flashed v1.10 yesterday rebooted several times with no issues. Today I used Root Explorer to delete FMradio.apk and had a bootloop after a reboot. Fixing permissions could be the culprit.

I used ROM manager. I rebooted the first time after flashing the ROM without issue, but I then got about 30 FC's so I ran the fix permissions in ROM, restarted, and thats when I got the bootloops.

After boot looping 3 or 4 times, it booted all the way to the launcher but never finished loading before it crashed again.

I am using IncrediKernel with ADW Launcher EX

I am running v1.1 and reboots fine without bootloop. One problem I have found is Navigation will not find location even though GPS comes on. Keeps checking navigation availability. However Google Maps works fine finding my location. Hope there is a solution to this.

I ran fix permissions in ROM Manager and that solved the Navigation issue.

After boot looping 3 or 4 times, it booted all the way to the launcher but never finished loading before it crashed again.

can't really say which method work for me because i did it from rom manager and from recovery. Sorta like chicken soup.................. (not sure it can help but shouldn't hurt)

Why not start with version 1.0 and work forward? At this point it may be more efficient than going off of relatively random reports.

Ahhhh! I really liked this ROM. Took time to completely set it up with ringtones, all apps, widgets and home screens. Then do a nandroid backup when I have it JUST how I like it to reboot and find it in a boot loop. That's what I get for reading the first page and nothing more when installing a new ROM. Here's hoping it gets fixed soon. It is the first ROM I've been willing to leave Virtuous for.

Just a bug to report.

1. The gingerbread keyboard is still the outdated one where sometimes the inline corrections place the new word inside the old mispelled one.

Well it feels like 2 weeks!

So talk about being unlucky. I do a nandroid backup, install a new font, phone reboots and starts boot looping so I restore my backup, and apparently whatever is causing the boot loops got backed up cause even after a restore my phone is till boot looping

EDIT: If I clear the cache (standard and dalvik), the phone boots for longer the first time but still loops.
