You are welcome, just so you know thicklizard's kernel has write protection removed.

Sent from my lair.

Sorry but just for my thick head... That means I CAN go into system/apps and make changes (delete apps)?

And does the Wolfpack kernal have write protection removed? No hijacking intended.

Sorry, 1 more thing. SVN noob here... That new cool feature of updating the rom through TE, if/when I do this, you can miss commits (ex. I'm on 53 and the newest is 56) and it be OK to flash the update? Just wipe caches (dirty install?)

Thanks, I'll catch up soon. Coming from the OG EVO.

Wow guys bareback is great! Freaked me out a bit when it first began f/c ing all the apps but after the reboot VERY nice! I like the simple clean setup. Think I'll chill here for awhile. Nice work team...

Edit: just realized how dirty that sounded. Lol completely unintended... :p

Yes wolfpack kernel has write protection removed, so is beastmode kernel. You can go in system /app and delete apks. When you use te to get a rom, it will not miss any commits, unless they were changed and /or removed at the time you did it. So if you have 53 and when you use te to get the rom, it will include full rom with all the commits up to 56.

LMAO.... Sorry. I should put a warning in the script about all of the force closes that will pop up while deleting system files.

Yeah, a bunch of force closes happen while dumping a bunch of system files. I knew about it and just forgot to throw a warning in there.

Rev 63 is up. It's Bareback commits. More removal of some orphaned data, swapped out the Calculator with AOSP calculator (completely untested), and updated Apex. Rev 62 I did a couple of days back should have added an option in the script to remove Sprint Visual Voicemail for those who prefer to use Google Voice. I just need confirmation that all is well with Bareback up to rev 63 as the next sets of changes will be largely experimental.

LMAO.... Sorry. I should put a warning in the script about all of the force closes that will pop up while deleting system files.

Everything is good with the script and the change in prompt for launcher and the added prompt on VM is nice.

Thanks!

New update to Bareback should stop the force closes while the script is running. Everyone be sure and thank Harfainx and mrrogers1 for that. I also added a significantly overhauled version of the Holy Smoke Apex / Nova theme (it's a bit more complete on Apex)..... Free for all d3rp purists to enjoy, but please don't redistribute it. It's now a paid app in the Play Store. :cowboy:

    The new effort is live!

    SuperONE from team d3rp

    :D

I've stepped down as lead dev. It's been a fun few years, but I just don't have the free time now for making roms. Delilah's growing up (she's almost 2), and I got promoted at work (much busier than I've ever been).

I'm obviously not going anywhere, Android is still my fun hobby. I'll be around helping out and making mods when I can.

Please show your love to the team, especially: @thoughtlesskyle @Gumby63 @solver404

    Thanks xda friends!
