I have all the sudden am having problems with wifi I have never used it much before just fast little tests but on my home wifi with wpa 2.0 it will work for a little while then stop sending and receiving data but stays connected... If I disable all protection on my wifi and leave it open then there is not problem at all...

Some other devices it will work for a bit then the phone will reboot.

I went all the way back to stock and this problem does not happen.

Any ideas on what can be causing this issue?

There was some bug when your connected to a router with no data the phone reboots.
Sucks when you are at a hotel or hospital. Where you have to connect then access website for connection.

We all could do without responses like this! if you cant post anything useful why post at all? and simply upgrading to kitKat wont help anyone solve this problem now will it?

I restored a stock backup just for testing to see if it worked and it did. then restored my backup of D3RP rom

Since you're back on stock just upgrade to kit Kat and forget about it.

Thank you for this info do you know what the fix was? I tested a stock back up and all worked well restored the D3RP backup and it came back I even tried re flashing the radio both zv8 and zva both had this issue with D3RP. I have not tried a zvc radio but I am not sure they are any diff.

We never tried to hunt that bug down tbh. Wifi without data is rare indeed. Now that we're working on zvc, any zv8 bugs are going to remain bugs.

That ain't no bug.... it's a feature. I like to call it the, "Your router is about to take a $hit" alert system.

With the ZVC firmware there is a new touch panel driver issue that we will, because of @Cloudyfa, have a fix for BUT I kind of wanted to do a litmus test in here to see if there was a definitive switch to the new touch panel or if LG had to switch to the "other" panel for a short time because of supply chain issues or something.

With that said......

1. Please PM me if you got your LG G2 early, as in early November, near the launch data.
2. Please PM me if you got your LG G2 in the last 2 Months.

Checking the panel is pretty easy but I don't need a poop ton of people checking and posting here so DON'T do it.

Thanks!

Can't access recovery zva

I received a replacement phone. It's now rooted, but I can't seem to get Flashify to install recovery. It came with zva. I tried freegee and still no recovery. I tried Flashify 3 yesterday and once today. What am I doing wrong. I used twrp from the op.

Just to keep everyone up to date, this ZVC is a headache and a half in certain ways. I know there has been some *****ing and moaning going on around the ls980 forums. Ask LG to dev unlock this device instead of complaining here at XDA. It is indeed a worthy device that they manufactured to be unlocked.

We are working on the KitKat update rigorously. youdug had a hard brick working on this device for the community, there are yet incalculable circumstances where a tot is needed... basically- a lot of BS downtime working on this for us/you. We are dedicated to this device and will deliver when it is feasible.

    BAREBACK MILESTONE 1 REVIEW:

This is a Optimus/Home free version of our d3rpG2 Rom that has been put on a serious diet. The goal of this was to strip down not only the "regular" bloat but also much of the extras that can be safely removed YET leaving the rom fully functional and d3rp Certified. Yes, the rom really is only 559mb of d3rp!

See the OP for the very long list of what makes this rom series THE ONE to be on. :D Then.... look down below here for a few additional notes about Bareback.

Rom includes Nova launcher (feel free to use any launcher you would like but Nova and Nova Prime are light weight and have tons of features and functionality) as the default, you can restore LG's Home with the zip below.

We have also include the Lucent Remix Icon pack (can be set in Nova settings) with custom walls and AppGetter application for requesting custom app icons by Team d3rp's lovely @vanessaem who makes all things pretty. If you like the Lucent Color Icons in the screenies, they can be found in the Play Store or you can follow V's pretty things in her thread located here >>>>>> [ICON SETS, UCCWs, and More] Themes by vanessaem

PLEASE thank @youdug for the guidance and patience needed to help me get this done. I worked on this in the shadows for the last couple months, hidden and he only spilled the beans once. Ha ha

Also thanks are in order for @hockeyfamily737 who is the original d3rp with the idea to do a Bareback variant AND @diestarbucks who was the last maintainer of Bareback and the reason I got a chance to join this Merry band of d3rps! :p

Last but not least, our trusty testing crew, @secret.animal, @That_Guy0505, and @lowpro3210 as they made sure everything was in order for this little surprise for you all.
