Is this Rom still active or is it done?

I wouldn't say "done" as it still runs great BUT for now, life has our team drawn away from Developing a follow up to our flavor of LG G2 rom.

Thank you all for the continue support! My G2 truly is my most favorite device so far (GPS is the only gripe I can muster but I know where I'm going Lol) and I continue to use it as my daily driver.

Take care everyone and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years to you all! :good:

To be honest I believe anything they did inside framework or any other important device specific files, would be gone when adjusted.
Which would alter the ROM. But if you change kennel and important device specific files. I would think it could work.

So, is it a simple theme ?! Is possible to port it ?

It's not a theme, they changed files and some other things. What all it was is difficult to say. But this who built it could tell you more.
Anything you did without proper knowledge could brick the device.

You could possibly inquire on what would be needed to make something work from a developer that builds for a variety of the g2 like cloudyfa or autoprime. They might be able to give you more insight.

Mode working, you've lost me there.

Download mode is when phone is off. Hold volume up and plug in USB from computer. If it stays at small progress bar. Your download mode is broken. If it goes from a small progress bar to a bigger one. Then your okay if something goes wrong you can tot back to stock saving yourself from a brick.

Oh, yeah I know download mode, this is my second LG device, and that's how I kept rescuing my first on, bit it was a low end LG. I just returned the first G2 because I bricked it, but I spent two day's reading, now I realized I could've saved that one. Now I have the tools I need, in case something goes wrong, I can't stand the UI on this G2, and I want Team d3rp's barebone. I used to run their builds on my Evo 3D. I read a statement the other day that said " started out a novice, then became a expert, now I a novice again. Each device has it's own lessons to learn. Anyway thanks for responding.

I'm definitly the wrong person to ask, these post are all over the place with it, and I don't really have the time to really read it all. I've been around for a while, and I never had to read so much information just to flash a custom rom. I'm sticking with stock recovery until lollipop update. I'm ok with just being rooted for now.

So I did more reading, and it seems that you can't just upgrade to a higher build (rom) because it will break things. You'll need to flash radio, modem, and kernal (bootlaoder) for that build to make a successful upgrade. I would suggest that you setup the unbrick application before you start flashing. Go to link below for the setup. I set it up earlier and it definitely works. I did a test run, had to re-root and everything but I had to test it to make sure it worked for me, now I can play :D

G3 kb is definitely a go. LG did a great job on it. Also redid that HORRIBLE dialer. Its not finished yet, and this is just a rough draft but this is what it will probably look like.

    [ROM][MILESTONE1] SuperG2 Bareback [ZVC][8/5/14]

    SuperG2bareback%20(1)50.png

This is a Optimus/Home free version of our d3rpG2 Rom that has been put on a serious diet. The goal of this was to strip down not only the "regular" bloat but also much of the extras that can be safely removed YET leaving the rom fully functional and d3rp Certified. Yes, the rom really is only 841mb of d3rp!

See the OP for the very long list of what makes this rom series THE ONE to be on and PLEASE thank @youdug for the time spent continuing this kicka$$ rom series! :D Then.... look down below here for a few additional notes about Bareback.

Rom includes Nova launcher (feel free to use any launcher you would like but Nova and Nova Prime are light weight and have tons of features and functionality) as the default, you can restore LG's Home with the zip below.

We have also include the Lucent Remix Icon pack (can be set in Nova settings) with custom walls and AppGetter application for requesting custom app icons by Team d3rp's lovely @vanessaem who makes all things pretty (Including the OP images). You can follow some of V's pretty things in her thread located here >>>>>> [ICON SETS, UCCWs, and More] Themes by vanessaem.

Also thanks are in order for @thoughtlesskyle for the custom walls you'll see featured on the lockscreen and in the d3rp walls app. We like, so you get to enjoy!

Last but not least, our trusty testing crew, @secret.animal, @That_Guy0505, and @lowpro3210 as they made sure everything was in order for both roms and don't even complain about my incessant requests for clean flashes. Lol

things have been slower from us because solver and youdug and me have been dealing with real life time contraining issues, just fyi guys

i think it's almost ready, mrrogers is trying to keep me on track (since i'm the only one of us 3 that's somewhat available)

afaik there's a couple visual bugs only, and i'm trying to figure them out.

once that's done i assume m1 is ready
