I bounced around and tried some of the other offerings, which I enjoyed, as well, because i am a flashaholic. But, I am back on this one again.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the Accuweather widget, or whatever, that is on the lockscreen if you are just using the swipe security method?

I would like to keep that security method but I can't figure out how to get rid of the weather... tia!

This is the only way I've heard of:

Go to settings > lock screen and select multiple widgets. Then add your preferred widget to the lock screen by going to your lock screen, dragging right and pressing the plus sign to add one. Then you can remove the original clock widget by long-pressing it and dragging to trash. I think you have to have a widget before you can remove it. Otherwise it will be added back. I like to use Dashclock.

Does anyone know of a way to revert the lock screen back to stock? I can't find an option to disable it in the lock screen settings.

This is what I am referring to: http://imgur.com/5mKpJfn

Thanks :)

EDIT: Also, what about the floating notification thing you get briefly at the top of your screen when a notification arrives? As shown here http://i.imgur.com/jDGseko.jpg

is there a mirrior link to the 6.0 beta v..wont download correcty..

---------- Post added at 08:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:02 PM ----------

The info for how to change Samsung apps to stock dpi to fix that problem is here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507369

The first part is about how to change dpi to make everything smaller, which this ROM has by default. Follow the subsequent steps to change dpi for apps that require stock dpi (gallery, camera, dialer, calculator, clock, etc).

It is based on a stock Sprint Galaxy Note 3 ROM. This means that it is touchwiz at its heart. He's added some neat scripts that installs Xposed stuff at boot which is pretty cool. He also changed the screen density to make better use of all our space on screen and got rid of a TON of bloat which was great. I've tried making a similar ROM to this but can't write get the same stability that he has produced :-\ I'm still such a n00b ;-P

For the individual that inquired about porting to Note 4:
Making most of the changes from this ROM to a Galaxy Note 4 would include debloating your ROM (there's usually scripts for this), changing the DPI in your build.prop to a number between 320-400, installing Xposed and using "App Settings" to change DPI of Contacts/Calculator/Gallery/other apps that function better at 480, installing some tweaks...and using Wanam to theme it up a bit...and I can't remember what else he did...again, I'm just trying to learn the ropes ;-P Excellent job he did! So simple and clean! Anywho, back to work. Good luck gents!

I keep meaning to come back and upgrade this.
I just haven't been able to put aside the free time for it, and my phone has been working flawlessly for a while. I'd like to be able to put the time I did at the beginning into cool projects like this. Unfortunately these projects don't pay the bills. So they get shoved on the back burner.

However,
When I get an official lollipop update from sprint, I'll put out one last version.
Since that should be the last supported update it would be a good place to stop with a nice polished version.
I'd like to take a week or so off and make a nice polished one, will see how it goes.
Also need to clean up the top posts ugh.

There won't be a note 4 release. I didn't upgrade.
I do plan on getting a note 5 though and I can't stand stock so...

That's the current plan, I'm open to other ideas if someone wants to commission a project they may contact me privately.

Great to hear from you and hope all is well. I look forward to crossing paths when the note 5 arrives. Cheers!

What recovery are you using? Im guessing T.W.R.P.? If so i suggest giving Philz Touch a go and see how that does for you. I had to do this myself . Hopefully this helps. Good luck!
