Boots for me *red lense. I'm glad I can use the JellyX without having to research and troubleshoot which builds work with which, etc

I've installed it yesterday,,, opinion:
- a little bit of random laggines, i don't konw why,,, but for the 70 % of time its ok
-opening the app is a little bit faster of the normal quarx rom
- the phone became hot very easily, probably due to jellyx kernel.

I'll report again,

If rom do not work, try this.
Tried it and all seems to be working so far. A couple little bugs but nothing I found to mess up the functionality of it. I also get the "loading apps" screen at start up (like after a cache wipe) but not a big deal. Also when editing wallpapers, the save (crop) button is not visible but it's still there if you click on the dark area in the upper right corner. MIUI theme gives error when applying but still works, although it causes a white font on lite backgrounds in some apps. Makes it hard to read but again not a big deal. Camera is a little laggy and there's no edit option that I've found but you can still edit if you open pics in the gallery. Can't really say if its ok for day to day use since I just installed it a few hours ago and my battery has issues so I can't give any reliable feedback on battery life.

Rom is pretty good....and the same lag which is found in all 4.1 roms.
Compartivly its less though.
Thanks for the effort :)

Nice ROM good effort it's appreciated :) I have been running for a few days but twice now I have gone to use the phone and found it completely unresponsive. After pulling the battery and rebooting the phone shows Motorola logo then hangs at black screen. To get running again I had to clear dalvik cache.

No problems with wifi and bluetooth etc, battery life seems good.

My quest for the perfect ROM continues ... looking forward to your next release that hopefully fixes this issue :)

The same quest here :p
And its a fact upgrading with the latest stuffs which your phone don't support would brings problems...
Have to accept bugs with looks or rather show off things we wish.
While on the other hand can't deny about the efforts our developers are making just for the max potential of our defy.
Would suggest to go back to stock if you want all things to be proper. I'm gonna do the same tomorrow :D
At last once again thanks to all the developers for showing the real beauty and the power of our defy with the hope it continues. :)

Yeah to be honest I have struggled to find a stable bug-free ROM, never ran stock, flashed it as soon as I got it :D

I tend to steer clear of the heavily customised ones, all I want is a standard Jelly Bean with speed and stability. I was a big fan of the Negan1911 ROM, tried the Sister Jelly Bean ROM but that used to get really slow and then lock up and reboot, not had much luck with the Quarx ones either, last few have given keyboard FCs straight after first boot and I believe the wi-fi drivers are broken recently also.

Still on this ROM until I figure out what to do next ...
