Working great for me, I'll try and upload the 4.1.1 zip which I downloaded a few days ago.. when I get to a computer.

Running very fast, no complaints here!

Sent from my Bayer MB525 running Mint 4.1 and using the XDA Premium app.

Thank you so much to OP. I've had huge problem with CM10 2ndboot series. And I installed this one, it's super fast. Fastest I ever used. And I don't have a problem at the moment either (1 week use so far). The installation is easy too.

I had 2 problems though but it might not be the rom related. That is "google map" and "google now" eat my battery. I disabled the location report service, the google map seem to be quiet after but google now begins to hog. I then disabled google now for the moment.

Yeah yeah me too. I had problem which I blamed it on the apps (google maps and google now). However after I disabled those apps my battery still dies fast. Now it shows "Android OS" is eating my batter alive. But I don't think I'm gonna disable that too !

Mine is even worse.

I have to change for CM10.1 while it is fixed... But I love this rom, the speed is amazing!

Ok, I'll try to fix it.
At the moment I'm working hard on a new rom (for now, I have no idea for a name) I mainly focus on the battery. Quarx versions appear with increasing consumption of battery. :(

Anyway... thanks for reporting bugs and feedback. :)

Maybe you should name it somehow after the battery :D Like BEBA (best battery), or just simply Baterry ROM

So you'll have "Mint" for performance, this unnamed one for battery.. then could you maybe make one that's balanced?

Bug report: I keep getting phoney crashing. This results in a required reboot. After reboot I go into the bootmenu and click reboot. Then when it turns back on signal takes quite a while to come back.

When making calls it won't call and instead crashes phoney and happens all over again. Sometimes after about 30 minutes of inactivity it also crashes phoney.

INFO: On 4.1.1 QKernel Mint Rom (File Name: 4.1Mint - Green.) This is running on a Defy+ with 2GB sdcard.

Hi, I'm a Defy owner, but I use CM10.1. A friend of mine asked me to revamp her Defy, so I opted for this ROM. We ran into a few issues, though:
1 - When tried all the optimizations proposed on the OP, the phone refused to boot, had to wipe data and reinstall everything. Luckily it didn't take much time because she had about a dozen apps only, but the point is: there is one (or more) of these optimizations that won't let the phone boot (it didn't even get to the bootanimation to properly bootloop, it turned on that red light indicating 2nd-boot was initializing, the light went off and then nothing showed up on screen, it remained black).
2 - My friend is complaining that now, when on-call, her phone is completely mute, nor does she hear the person on the other side, nor does the person hear her. Turning loudspeaker on doesn't help either. She can hear the phone ring, though. It's probably something related to the phone app or something like this, any help?

Thanks in advance :)
