I was able to test the EliteRom_Note10Pro_22.6.16 yesterday.
when adjusting the brightness, the screen flickers and the brightness can not be controlled properly.
The dual-sim function also does not work properly. When I want to make changes to the second SIM, the menu closes and the two sim bars disappear briefly in the top bar. as if the gms module would reboot.
the note 10 is my daily driver, so now i am back to ricedroid. that means i have no log files.
There is a screen flicker button now in Display. I see the screen brightness does not get stuck with it set to Anti-flicker.
The weekly rom is bad, Regardless of whether the data is formatted or not, the same loop enters the fastboot mode.
No answer guys?Hi guys, any reviews about EliteRom_Note10Pro_13.0.8.0_Stable_v13-A12.zip? How is battery life and performance? Gpay works with shamiko etc? I'm still on global 12.5.9.0 but I noticed some little bugs in smoothness using nova launcher and other apps.
I've tried Lineage and most of the Pixel-like ROMS, which are honestly a disappointment. This EliteRom is miles more interesting and useful than the stock MIUI, like the useful Sync button added back into the quick settings pulldown! (Why did ROMs even remove that in the first place?) Battery life is good, and fast-charging works. It is unencrypted apparently, as the 1OSS.DFE.zip fails to install. Hide Magisk so all your banking apps can be exceptioned within. The latest middle-June Weekly has an issue with the brightness slider, but there is a new anti-flicker button in Display that does help a bit on its own. That release also has/had a bug that forced you into Fastboot mode at all times, even after choosing Power Off from TWRP! I got around that by downgrading then format and wipe and reflashing; I see another user also kept seeing the Fastboot destination with just a format and wipe, as I did, so keep this trick in mind.
There is still a problem where your external SD will not mount in Windows. It only shows up when you reboot into recovery. Not an issue with my stock Redmi 10 other phone. I use the latest TWRP. Only the internal shows up at all times; sometimes the internal shows up TWICE as a mount. Very weird. I am also having issue with adb and other driver prompts failing to install. Dastardly, that! I installed the drivers but they keep failing to start with code 10. Other USB ports and cables are not fixing it, and neither is rebooting. I got ONE adb driver installed when I changed the type to PTP instead of charge only or File Transfer... at least now disabling those unwanted apps (like some of those MIUI apps like the video player) is possible. F'ing Google removed our ability to disable apps in Android 12 on the phone, AND removed the ability for some/most file managers to install apps! ARGGGH!! Thankfully, this "feature" has not yet reached the stock MIUI file manager app.I've tried Lineage and most of the Pixel-like ROMS, which are honestly a disappointment. I understand. And instead of weekly you tried Élite on 13.0.8.0? Maybe more stable? I'm stuck on global tweaked 12.5.9.0.I've tried Lineage and most of the Pixel-like ROMS, which are honestly a disappointment. The current weekly is 22.6.16 Beta. You are not stuck; all the releases are available for your testing. Research the updates and responses here and increase your flashing experience. The first two updates were good. There is a reason why I got this phone with a non-Mediatek processor: the ability to test ROMs.I understand. And instead of weekly you tried Élite on 13.0.8.0? Disregard. The file has been pulled for now. Good. Wait for the next one... that .16 release is too buggy.Uh... from where did you get the update the first time? Go back there again. And why is my original quote in Asian letters? WTH
What I mean that I'm stuck on miui 12 because I read that mui 13 has battery drain. Only for this reason. The current weekly is 22.6.16 Beta. You have not tried this ROM yet? You must, when the update is ready. It is NOT a stock MIUI ROM. This one is interesting and you need to test for yourself. What I mean that I'm stuck on miui 12 because I read that mui 13 has battery drain. Only for this reason.
If you wish. The RNP is my hobby phone, not daily driver. That's why I would to try Elite based on global 13.0.8.0. I think it's more stable?
