I can do a backup, but I have a very slow ADSL upload 640 kbps.
Wait about one day and I do not think that solves your problem. Anyway i upload a backup for you

Hi. I am facing 2 problems, any help will be really appreciated:

1. I am trying to get a GPS signal but even while standing in the open, with clear skies, not a single signal is being picked. Anyone knows how to fix this? The GPS FIX software is also not helping. I have moved from CM12.1 and GPS was working fine with it.

2. Previously, I used this ROM till Ver. (miui_note_6.2.12_4.4). At that time I was able to use my bluetooth handsfree without an issue for normal calls, whatsapp calls and media. When I moved to CM12.1 (Nightowl), that handsfree strangely stopped functioning with the set, however worked perfectly with other sets. Now when I have moved to the current version of MIUI 7, it is also not working with the ROM, but installing the previous built for testing i.e. (miui_note_6.2.12_4.4), the handsfree worked perfectly once again. Can anyone guide what must be the cause of this strange issue and still better how to solve this?

Thanks.

EDIT: Installed the Kernel provided at the beginning of the thread, considering that maybe it will help somehow... But unfortunately it resulted in me getting stuck at the MI logo boot screen.. Although this used to work perfectly in previous versions of ROM, which I stopped using cuz of the insufficient space error... Which has not happened as yet with this version. Confused...

Try to restore my backup, install kernel 6.3.3, do a wipe cache and dalvik. I do not understand why I have no problem

EDIT: Do you think if I flash the XXLT3 modem once again, will it make any difference?

Flashed the backup with kernel. Got no signal indoors but managed to get 4-5 signals outdoors however they were not strong enough to get a fix. Also opened the set, propped up the antenna connectors a bit and tightened the body to see if there is some connection issue... But no use..
Is it possible that there is some setting that has been messed up cut of trying the different ROMS? (found this possibility being quoted at a number of forums where ppl say that there is a hidden service menu in n7000 where the GPS settings can be reset when such an issue occurs)
Also... What is the possibility of flashing modem to fix such things?

Try installing a modem for your area to see if solves the problem

Thanks. Installed XXLT3 as either it or XXLT9 was the modem my cell came installed with. Well... For unknown reasons, there was no improvement.
Have tried the cm12.1 (the last ROM I used) again, before installing modem, to see if there was a hardware issue, but the GPS worked immediately... Nevertheless, back to miui7 as it is much smoother and an eye candy. I think, I'll use my tablet for navigation and GPS etc.

Once again Thanks a lot for always being supportive and helpful! :good:

Sorry to bother you further... After installing the modem, I have noticed that the cell has started losing signals unless I stand in open and also giving very bad performance on Mobile Data (3G). Restoring the backup made before flashing the Modem also didn't help... When backup was made, I also made backup of EFS, but didn't restore it as I don't know what it'll do... Should I restore EFS too... And is it safe? (BACKUP AND MODEM FLASHING WAS DONE WITH TWRP installed by ROM)
Thanks.

I have also got the backup of my original "modem" from stock firmware of my own phone in .tar and .img format... Can it help? And... How to install it? :(

UPDATE: Managed to install the backup of modem through Mobile Odin, but unfortunately no improvement occurred. I guess something has gone wrong with the hardware of this old thing... :(
