No ...Don't update from Inbuilt OTA updater...it will not work... or else u will softbrick ur device... I have updated the ROM to MIUI 8 v6.6.30 download from the Updated LINK...

Use security app in miui 8 which is inbuilt... there is an option of ram management u can try that.... hope it may help you

Whenever u update ur phone to any kk version rom u required to flash uboot v3 to solve the problem of screen flickery and for jelly bean Tom uboot v1

Charging bug..

MiUi 8.0 takes too much time to charge the device... in about 2 hours only 20% of battery is charged and the discharge rate of the battery is also very high. Waiting for the fix...

When connected to pc via usb cable MTP is not working....
No mobile drives are shown on pc...
But PTP works fine...
