It's not official, so you can't. You have to wait for the devs to port the updates.
Honestly though, the developers are doing a great job already by porting the ROMs we never imagined we could run on our mid range phone. Can't ask for more.

I think the op said it can be updated by ota. Cause its maintained by a Russian developer team.
That was the old version. Notice he said that the newer version is manually ported.

Nope All version in this thread is official from miui.su not ported one
ya u can upadate using ota method
and also by twrp , just go to advance wipe menu and select everything except these internal sd card, data, and sd card and wipe ;flash new version zip

ya there was bug in 6.8.18 but it is patched in new 6.8.25

firmware upgrade to arifan beta 5.
everything is given on first page
Download arifan beta 5 firmware, mtk USB drivers, SP flash tool.
Install the drivers, open flash tool, select scatter loading, browse to arifan beta 5 rom folder and select the .txt file. Select firmware upgrade from the drop down menu. Select all the files individually if not automatically selected, hit the download button, power off your phone, pull out the battery, After 5 seconds reinsert the battery and connect it with pc via USB cable(don't turn it on).
Wait for the download to complete, a green ring will appear saying so. Disconnect, boot to recovery first using the button combo, do a factory reset then boot up the phone.
Then proceed with the instructions on this thread.

and to know is swap is working or not use diskinfo
and for aosp notifications in statusbar use miui and tweaks with xposed will add working xposed
