---------- Post added at 03:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:23 PM ----------

Thanks for your excellent job, this rom it's awesome, but has a bug in edit picture on gallery apk.

Thanks

thanks for report
bug edit picture seem come from ROM miui.eu, so I have resolved this by replace some file take from other ROM miui
just download file attachment, then you have to extract and copy manually, using app like es file explorer:
1. extract the attachment there is 2 folder, and copy each to system as folder name it
2. from Folder MiuiGallery copy and replace to system\priv-app\MiuiGallery
3. From Folder lib64 (contain 7 files) copy and replace to system\lib64
4. Dont forget to change property just like previous file e.g MiuiGallery.apk -rwxr-r- do with others file in folder lib64
5. if you done, just restart OP3. so edit gallery should be working now
I will update this fix to new build or update my ROM.

Why doesn't the first post show the known issues list? I have already skimmed the 162 pages of posts in this thread but I'm still no closer to knowing what definitely does or does not work. I first use MIUI on my HTC Desire Z and I've tried it on other phones since then and always loved it, and I definitely want to try this on my OP3 but not if any of the primary features are missing or broken.

What is the best source for the current known issues list, and can anyone provide a link please?

Transparent lockscreen notification

Guys,
Do you know is there any way to make the lockscreen notification background transparent (similar to iOs) without installing a lockscreen app replacement?

MIUI is so customisable so must be a way!!

Thanks!

I tried most MIUI version, Chinese, Global and patches and I always has "force close" with Googke service although I followed the installation instruction as written in the book.

The only version that worked well for me with only few FC in the beginning and Google services working fine out of the box is MIUI 8 by erv99 (XDA) Aroma.MIUI.6.10.20.Global.zip found in this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByyU8uo_aVO5RHlKUjk0Tmwtd1E/view

I hope it will work for you

Ok so i installed Resurrection Rom (with firmware 3.2.7) as primary on my MultiRom, and MIUI 8.6.11.1 by wux as secondary. Root and Xposed working fine on both ROMS. I thought i were in bootloops but apparently it reboots sometimes 4-5 times (hardreboot) before it boots. It does that sometimes when restarting. Multiboot menu doesnt work sometimes as the touch does not work, but autoboot works fine. I tried mivvs insternational port of wux rom as a third rom, but couldnt install supersu (failed patching boot.img) but im happy with what i got. Works and its fast even as secondary system.

Just and update if anyone thinking of it. (first and secondary roms must use same firmware for fingerprint to work, but if i install an rom that uses 3.2.4 i can just flash it to test, then flash 3.2.7 back if i want to boot another rom)

Hmm doublepost and also seemed to thank myself. Well done i guess ?

    MIUI 8 for OnePlus 3
    bde845f2a4.png

    ATTENTION:
    THIS IS NOT MY ROM
This ROM it's the CHINESE version, not the GLOBAL!

    Prerequisites:
    - Root:
You need to have root access on your Oneplus 3 to flash Miui V8.
    - Battery:
Charge your OnePlus3 85% so that you wont encounter any battery related problems while updating it.
    - Unlocked bootloader:
You must have a unlocked bootloader on OnePlus 3 to flash this rom.
    - Recovery:
You need a custom recovery like twrp installed on your device.

Go here for an All-in-one kit for root, unlock bootloader, and flash recovery. Thanks to @ahmedradaideh

    How to flash:
    - Download MIUI v8 for OnePlus 3 and place it in a folder which can be easily accessible on device internal storage.
    - Reboot into TWRP using button combination and make a nandroid backup. (Optional)
    - Wipe cache, system and data partitions.
    - Click on install and select MIUI v8 rom zip file and flash it.

    How to install GApps:
    Google apps installer v2 (apk):

(Create Google account, reboot, remove Google account, reboot, create Google account again) thanks @kickassdave

    smooth stuff

10/10 i wont recommend this ching chong stuff.

    Moving back to Hydrogen OS

    Peace
I'm kind of fed up seeing MIUI take a bad rep on XDA because of a butt hurt past. Your problems are not problems I have so you shouldn't be sitting telling everyone how awful it is because you don't know how to sort those issues.

A: don't install Google apps from TWRP, you need to use Google apps installer v2
B: apply a different theme, this will correct the Chinese text in the clock and status bar as well as lock screen (there is an "Android N" theme which works perfectly fine.
C: don't use stock browser or keyboard. Both easily replaceable once you have Google apps working.

P.s. Ching Chong sounds racist to me. This is not the place for that kind of chat.

    Okay huge recap.

I've been trying to get used to it for the last 10 hours.

It's the chinesse port, not a GLOBAL port.

Which means that every proprietary applications are in chinesse.

    Themes, music player, browsers etc.

Themes wont let you see proper themes.

    Stock SuperUser doesnt work.

I tried to install the xposed module to get the themes that are not verified to install, it didnt work neither.

The whole experience is great and it runs great.

But we need a global version of this, and the chinesse crap version.
