Xiaomi 12
It's a recovery rom. you should use latest twrp for A12 from here for your cupid to be able to flash it.
no more .bat fastboot install script.
in case of first installation you need to format /data (not wipe) to clear encription (!)
Hello,

Should we use both Which are REC and Boot?
Or, Is just enough to boot this recovery for installing this rom by using this command?
fastboot boot 3.6.2_12-Mi12_v5.1_A12-cupid-skkk_eaafd8f3.img

you have a read me file there that explains BOOT vs REC img types;

use BOOT with fastboot boot command; once booted into recovery you should go to advanced and flash into the recovery partition;

use REC with fastboot flash recovery_ab revovery.img command to flash it directly then fastboot reboot recovery

it is advisable to flash (either method) the recovery for A12 to be able in future to update via OTA your cupid.

Hi man,
i'm on stock EEA ROM. So, if I understood correctly, i have to: 1)unlock bootloader and then flash TWRP by "fastboot flash recovery_ab xxx.img"; 2)reboot into recovery; 3)wipe all; partition and then format /data; 4)install the last EU by flashing zip, 5) enjoy. Is it ok?

when install first time just format /data. do not wipe all.

Hello,
I'm on stock EEA ROM (168h countdown running) ... my first impression so far is not that bad as I expected (of course ADB debloated).
I'm planning to switch to Xiaomi.eu ROM anyway, just have one question:

Please, does DT2S work on MIUI launcher (on the homepage, not on lockscreen only) in .eu ROM?

The combination of this and the inability to use system gestures with 3rd party launcher annoys me the most.

Hello guys!
I have a few questions. Hope you can help me.
My xiaomi 12 is now like this:
Bootloader open / twrp installed / last .eu stable installed / magisk installed / root / safety net OK

I just want to know two things:

1) what is the best way to make a back up?? If it is via TWRP, which options have I to check when making back up?? Vendor, data, ... I don't know nothing about it

2) how to update not to have problems??
I had problems every time I tried to update magisk in my last xiaomi mi5. I got always bootloop.
In xiaomi.eu I can read that OTA is not able because TWRP is not working. TWRP is working!! Is it an obsolete tread??
How can I update new .eu ROMs not to have problems?? Please, tell me everything, even wipes. I'm very lost

Thank you so much!!!

For updates use OTA, works fine. (unroot before).

Hello again.
When you say "Unroot with magisk app", it means Disable Superuser Access?? It's the only option I can find in magisk app.
Or it means to uninstall magisk??

Thank you!

    @ingbrzy will future roms be based on the global rom?
    nope.. we prefer China ROM as base rather than Global..
