Information:

Based on Desire HD's MIUI and Incredible S' CM7

What's working:

•Phone
•Wi-Fi
•Bluetooth
•Backlight
•Keyboard
•GPS
•Etc.


What's not working:
•front camera
•HD Video record
•music player FC

we will fix it as quick as possible!


Languages Supported currently:

中文简体/中文繁体/英文 Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / English

S-Off (Useful link - Detailed Video Guide)



Solution for "SIM not Working" problem (if it occurs to you too):

This is the problem with Radios. Update to latest one, preferably, 3805.x.x.x (Gingerbread Based) (useful link)



What You Should Know (Keep this in mind):


•If you're not able to hear voice during phone calls, update your Radio to 3805.x.x.x as given above
•DO NOT update with ANY official MIUI ROM whether that of Desire HD or other.

Install Instructions (with DOWNLOAD Links):


1.Make sure you have S-Off. You may also need 3805.x.x.x radio. (Links above will help you).

2.Download the MIUI ROM. Links:

•Direct link - http://romer.fengbao.com/fgz/bbs.fen...I_ROM_1.71.zip
•MultiUpload - http://www.multiupload.com/MJCRUGO06F
•Megaupload - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6PK1A4NR

3.Transfer the ROM to SD Card.

4.Reboot into recovery and flash the MIUI ROM using "Install from sd card"

5.After it's flashed. Reboot your phone.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Downloading it now. I was really waiting for it. It's the best custom ROM out there, along with the CM7.

My hands are itching to try the theme engine on MIUI on my IS. Thanks again!

I have 4EXTRecovery_v1.1.1_vivo with EXT4 and it works fine for me

but ! :) but I have Chinese language now and I don't know were to change in English ! :)

Nowhere! It's not english. It's chinese. It is stated often in this thread, that it isn't english.
We have to translate it our own.

    Sorry if I got anyones hope's up, when I said all translations ported I meant all English translations. I will look at doing other languages though as it was easier than I thought it would be!

    this is nice work! Got a lot further than I ever did, it's good to see it working.

    I am now looking at porting the language pack from the DHD but it's not gonna be easy so I am not promising anything. I am looking into it though. The language pack contains a lot of files, but I think the only one that needs porting is the framework-res, I am picking my way through the smali files one by one and will let you know how I get one.

    EDIT: I've looked at it and the frameworks in the lang pack for the DHD and the ROM in this thread are practically identical... made some changes and testing it now, will let you know how I get on! Possible the camera still wont work though, will have to wait and see

    EDIT 2: Looks like all the APKS are going to need porting manually :( I will do System UI first, that should be the bulk of the work

    Oh ****.
    I've tried now the hands free talking with a plugged in Headphone and it doesn't work.
    The others can't hear me.

    It's just same as the cyanogenmod rom. I think, it is because of the noise cancellation. Now it's a voice cancellation.
    I need this handsfree. I hope, you can fix it soon, because I love miui.
