If a theme gets messed up and there is no option to get screen, then is there any way to revert to previous theme or default theme?
Why post an older version? :silly: Here's 3.10.18 - http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/3-10-18.22424/
If you flash WajkIUI_multilang_3.1.27_Plus.zip it'll flash the GB kernel already.Does anyone have a link for a mirror so I can download WajkIUI_multilang_3.1.27_Plus.zip (Stable GB with GB kernel)?
Also my phone is currently running the 2.6.32.9 - aerokernel will this be problematic or would it be recommended to revert back to a different kernel... whats recommended for this Rom?
I have not used this rom for ages and have been using various JB roms and now wish to revert back to a more stable Rom with less lag problems before passing the phone on to my stepdaughter.
Thanks for any advice
True, so here is newest version for DEFY:

Unfortunatelly my N4 is in service so I am back to DEFY at the moment.
Motorola Defy+: a very good hardware but a lousy stock software. Luckily this excellent custom MIUI ROM changed everything and now we have a very good phone alltogether. I'm on the GB version of the ROM, which is fully comparable with and matches the official CM7.2 ROMs.
I added my personal configuration and "tweaks" and I have now a 1%/3hours battery drain during night time (airplane mode on) and 2%/3 hours during day time. This way the battery could last at least one week in stand-by mode.
For that I use Titanium Backup and Tasker (and Secure Settings plugin).

I chose not to delete system apps I didn't use, but to freeze them instead with Titanium Backup: AppWidgetPicker, Backup, Calculator (replaced with ShakeCalc), CalendarStorage, Compass, CompassCalibrator, ControlPanel, DefyBasebandSwitcher, Downloads, DSPManager, Email, FileExplorer (replaced with ESFileExplorer+ESClassicTheme), Firewall, GoogleBackupTransport, GoogleCalendarSync, GoogleContactsSync, GoogleTalk, Launcher (replaced with ADWLauncherEX), LiveWallpaperPicker, Music (replaced with PowerAmp), Notes (replaced with AnyDo), PhonePortal (replaced with AirDroid), GoogleServices, SIMToolkit, SoundRecorder (replaced with HI-QMP3Recorder), SpareParts, TaskManager, Torch (replaced with ToggleDefyFlash), Updater, VoiceDialer, XioamiAccountManager, News&Weather (replaced with AccuWeather). I also keep frozen most of the time those apps installed from GooglePlay that I do not use very frequent.
During night time my phone automatically enters Airplane Mode, thanks to Tasker, which also turns off Airplane Mode automatically in the morning. I don't use internet a lot, so I also use Tasker to turn on data traffic and syncronisation for 1 minute each 3 hours during day time (for example, to be notified if I have mail). Tasker is also helpful to freeze internet apps (Google Play, Gmail, Browser, AccuWeather, Google Maps etc.) when wifi or data are off. Tasker automatically enables (unfreezes) those internet apps when wifi or data is turned on.
You may use a battery usage monitoring app, such as BatteryMonitorWidget, BetterBaterryStats or GsamBatteryMonitor to see what apps are draining your battery.
My Launcher (ADW EX) has only one screen, with a personal picture but no iconsWell, in fact the icons of the most frequent used apps are there, but I made them invisible (I know by heart where to touch the screen to launch a certain app). I also don't use widgets (except for a small 1x1 MicroClockWidget).
Examples of other "tweaks" I made: with one touch of a certain area of the screen I light on/off the torch, I take a picture, I start video or audio recording, I disable/re-enable the keyguard etc.
Some other apps that I like: AutoMount, CamScanner, DisplayBrightness, DocumentsToGo, FBReader (and TTS+Plugin), GravityScreen, IvonaTextToSpeech, MXPlayer, OneHandAnswer, SwiftKey, SwipeStatusBar, WidgetLocker or, if you have a car, Torque, DailyRoadsVoyager and iGO.
Well you could try using AROMA full wiper or defy safewipe to wipe system, data and cache, and then flash WIUI.
