Hi,
the new version 12.0.3 is out! Just to doublecheck before I start updating: can I just dirty flash the 12.0.3 over 12.0.2 in TWRP or shall I rather:
- backup data
- format data
- return to recovery
- flash 12.0.3
- restore data

Xiaomi.eu is based on MIUI China ROM, so it comes with stock MIUI dialer, so yes - it does come with an automatic call recorder.

Passaggi per installare UPDATE della nostra ROM (Tutti i tuoi dati e file sulla memoria interna NON verranno eliminati!)
- Scarica il nostro file zip ROM STABLE
- Decomprimi il file zip scaricato nel PC
- Riavvia il dispositivo in modalità fastboot (premi volume giù + accensione)
- Collegati al PC tramite cavo USB
- Esegui lo script di installazione fastboot da zip decompresso in base al sistema operativo del tuo PC:

Per il sistema operativo Windows ./windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat
Per Linux ./linux_fastboot_update_rom.sh
Per MacOS ./macos_fastboot_update_rom.sh

- Dopo il riavvio è terminato (il primo avvio può richiedere fino a 5 minuti)

Aggiornamento tramite OTA:
funziona come al solito
L'installazione tramite OTA non è attualmente possibile a causa della mancanza di TWRP
Updater ti avviserà della nuova versione e la scaricherà sul tuo dispositivo per te
Devi copiarlo sul tuo PC, scompattarlo ed eseguire fastboot_update_rom sctipt

Since installed the "xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9ProEU_V12.0.1.0.RJZMIXM_v12-11", Android 11 ROM, I've Problems with the camera.
In Standard-Photo-Mode the resolution is to low. (max. 1280px)
When I switch to Pro-Mode it works normally.

Since installed the "xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9ProEU_V12.0.1.0.RJZMIXM_v12-11", Android 11 ROM, I've Problems with the camera.
In Standard-Photo-Mode the resolution is to low. (max. 1280px)
When I switch to Pro-Mode it works normally.

I've just updated to that build, I don't seem to have this issue, try a clean flash.

Not much is different, slicker animations here and there and the chat bubbles feature from Android 11 are about the only things I could notice in the couple of hours I've had it so far, it's worth it imo just to keep things fresh.

I did a clean flash (format DATA, wipe CHACHE) in TWRP.
No change.

Now I switched back to "xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9ProEU_V12.0.2.0.QJZMIXM_v12-10".
So far its stable.

You're right in that rooting isn't necessary. I was only asking because one possible reason for your issue can be due to the use of a Magisk module that applies systemless changes to pass safety net.

If you're not rooted then this isn't your issue.

Hai ragione sul fatto che il rooting non è necessario. Stavo solo chiedendo perché una possibile ragione per il tuo problema può essere dovuta all'uso di un modulo Magisk che applica modifiche senza sistema per passare la rete di sicurezza.

Se non sei rootato, questo non è un tuo problema.
