I saw this as I was making some research before buying a redmi note 10 for my dad and I'm curious about the script "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat"

Does it unlock the bootloader or "mi unlock tool" is still needed?
And in the case that it does unlock the bootloader, does it work for other devices like POCO f1?

I'm not sure about Custom Recovery will not be a problem.
Commonly start settings and there system. Click on the Banner system then fits up to update.

Sometimes when I receive an Audio message in WhatsApp the app just hangs up, and then the whole phone's audio just seizes to work. Like if I make a call I can't hear what the other person is saying on either Loudspeaker or earpiece. It stays that way until I restart the phone. It happened to me yesterday and again today 10 minutes ago.
------_------------------------_-------

This has happened to me three more times since yesterday. Phone starts to lag, apps start to hang up and ask to force close or wait and sound just stops working. Including system sounds like lock and unlock sounds, dial tones etc.

Could someone please help, I really love this rom and I don't want to flash stock.

ThankHad

Had exactly same issue.....

Hello. How do i install the recovery version of this? I had pixel experience plus and wanting to switch to XiaomiEU. I wiped dalvik cache + data and format data too but when I try to flash the zip file of v12.0.11 it fails. Do I need to install the fastboot versions first?

Edit: I also replaced PERecovery with TWRP for this.

Edit 2: I tried to sideload zip file on PE recovery but says it expects sunny instead of mojito but went on to 47%. On PE it means it installed successfully but I haven't checked on Xiaomi EU. So I used sideload on TWRP instead of flashing the zip file and it worked.

I think you have to do a wipe or format data

How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi Note 10

We will release fastboot ROM versions until TWRP for mojito/sunny is released

    UPDATE:

    - Update Global ROM to the latest via updater app first..
    - Unlock your bootloader by Mi Unlock tool https://en.miui.com/unlock/
    - Download our ROM zip file xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote10_V12.0.5.0.RKGMIXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip
    - If you are on Windows: Right click on downloaded zip - Settings - Unblock zip content

    - Unpack downloaded zip file in the PC
    - Reboot your device to fastboot mode (press volume down + power)
    - Connect to PC via original USB cable
    - Run fastboot installation script as administrator from unpacked zip according your PC operating system
