Running Xiomi Mi 11 Pro Global Firmware : 12.5.7.0 - 2021-09-01 patch. Why its so behind? When there is coming a new android patch for this device?
It is not behind. numbers does not mean how advanced is the update. (only security patch is a month behind).

Chinese version takes 5 updates at least to reach a stable version, EU takes 2-3, and global its 1-2. that's why global is 12.5.7 and Chinese is 12.5.20.

every single app that is working on a higher version that what the global rom uses is buggy, and i can see that on telegram MIUI updates page.

i agree that sometimes a few bugs are better than being outdated. but their way of going through updates justifies its self in my point of view.

You saying 1 security patch month behind, its now December 12, the last update I received was September 9

You are right, 2 months behind because December issued in the end of December.

But what about bugs in other roms? We have not faced any of what are they facin.
Yeah, thanks for confirming buddy. But buddy you're right. Im sitting at the Global, and not facing any kind of a bug. But what do you suggest? Go to EEA (Europe) or stay at the Global Rom?

I must say that there is also a ROM of Xiaomi.EU, how do you think about that?

Don't try EU at all. If doubtful, try it and pay for it your self ;)

The only thing good in EU is camera, other than that you'll have to live with bugs here and there. I tried it up to 12.5.17. and when I returned to global it caused me troubles.

Eea is same as global but 1-2 weeks faster updates. Not worth unlocking bootloader

You mean Xiaomi.EU right? or EEA (Europe-Global)? On what firmware you currently on? Or what do you suggest?

Depends, which version is your device originally? My device is MI global rom not EEA. and the buggy software is the EU one.
If your device is Chinese then install the EEA or the MI version. If it is global already, then keep its original software

My home comes original with a Chinese original Xiaomi Rom. Unlocked the bootloader and installed the Global ROM.

You mean XIAOMI.EU is garbage? Or the EEA?

there are several global roms that you can find:
-International global (RKAMIXM)
-Europe Global (RKAEUXM) not xiaomi.eu***
-Indian Global (RKAINXM)
-Indonesian Global (RKAIDXM)

International Global is always last in updates with most stable version. then comes Europe version. they test on region by region with global before released on international one.

you can find latest versions in here:

Hey guy,

Which is the last Android 11 version of Xiaomi.EU? I flashed the latest weekly but didn't realize it was based on Android 12.
Starting from 15 September, Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro/Ultra, Redmi K40 Pro/+/Mi 11i, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 10S and POCO F3/Redmi K40 weekly ROMs are suspended due to Android 12 tests.

so 21.9.1 was latest weekly for 11 pro/ultra

Hey guys. I have a serious Problem here and can't find a solution. Phone Mi 11 Ultra

Im somehow stuck on Version 21.11.11. After updating to latest EU Roms in boots and im still on version 21.11.11. In Terminal while updating fastboot ROM all looks good i can't see any issues.

I tried formating and flashing Stock CN Rom with MiFlash Tool and it worked well. After that i flashed latest EU Rom it showed me again Version 21.11.11..

Tried also formating and wiping with Twrp still the same as somehow the 21.11.11 is hiding somewhere and won't go away. What i am doing wrong?

Ill post last line of Terminal while flashing maybe there is something wrong.

Appreciate any help. Thank you

For me installation of xiaomi.eu ROM on Chines version Mi11 Ultra was very easy.

    - unlock bootloader in MiUnlock
    - unpack xiaomi firmware file "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.5.3.0.RKACNXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip"
    - reboot and connect phone in fastboot mode
    - run script inside unpacked ROM folder "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat"
    - wait till ROM will be flashed, that's it :)

I just also managed to flash my Mi 11 Ultra (CN version), using the instructions from the below post:

I went from CN 12.5.2 to .EU 12.5.3. Don't know how important the slot setting commands were (they felt quite important), but I managed to avoid bricking, so can't have hurt.

    First impressions:
    - V nice and smooth - feels as refined as I'd hoped
    - Google integration seems perfect
    - GPay still working. Haven't re-installed bank apps yet, but no reason to think they won't work.
    - Google Discover now working if I swipe left from home screen (had to change a setting to enable) - v happy about that
    - Calendar app icon now a lot neater (day doesn't stretch right to each edge of the icon)
    - Only quirk so far (as reported elsewhere): Google Maps is using its old app icon - I can live with that..!

    yes, com.xiaomi.misubscreenui is rear display..

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (512Gb Chinese variant) successfully flashed from 12.5.30 to latest XiaomiEU 12.5.40.
I was following this steps (Link) (Using ORIGINAL 67W cable)

    PS: What I did additionally.
After bootloader unlocked (the phone will wipe everything by it self due to the process of unlocking bootloader) however after bootup I log in to MIUI account, after activated developers settings, I saw Oem Unlocking is ON and my phone is Unlocked.
I factory reset it one more time ! Log in to my MIUI account., activated developer settings., activated debuging mode, authorize devices to PC. Restarted to Fastboot.

    (ADMIN)
cmd: fastboot devices (my phone is there)
    cmd: fastboot getvar current-slot
    current-slot: b

    cmd: fastboot set_active a

Back to extract file folder XIaomiUE rom.

Press SHIFT and right click on windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat runs as Administrator.

    DONE !

PS Little advice if your phone sending superimg 1/8 too long , just press Y.

    GOOD LUCK

I LOVE the ROM! Thank you devs !!!
I'm flash xiaomi.eu with less job to do:
-After unlocked bootloader, phone boots up, when you get to home screen, reboot to fast boot and connect to PC (didn't login to miui account, and didn't factory reset again)
-unzip xiaomi.eu ROM package, run "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat " as Administrator
-wait till everything will be flashed, no need to set_active slot, as this is already done by script.

Don't know why nobody fallows original tutorial from xiaomi.eu here in first post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...mi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-mi-11-pro-ultra.4260617/

Also very happy from xiaomi.eu ROM ;)
