You mean multiple languages ?
If yes, long press Spacebar.
No, it doesn't work.

I have installed 3 different keyboard apps, I can't switch from the navigation bar to change which keyboard I want.

On my Oneplus I have in the navigationbar a keyboard icon to switch my keyboards apps (grammerly, Microsoft SwiftKey, gboard).

So how to enable this icon in the navigation bar?

A12 broke wifi 5ghz speed.

With A11 miui 12.5 i got on speedtest 1100mbsec, with 160mhz and dfs channels.
now with same configuration i got 450mbps.
in menu, wifi, connection speed is 1733mbps.
i've read in xiaomi.eu forum that xiaomi broke the 5ghz band and no one can do anything apart of xiaomi.

i've also tried the same test with a locked EEA Mi11tPro, same result, speed is capped at 450mbps on speedtest.

is anyone else having this issue?

Hello,

I haven't flashed and rooted my last 3 or 4 androids over last years. But as I see there is point to go from Global to EU ROM.
Don't want to brick Mi 11 ultra as it isn't 300 EUR phone....

So trying to get up-to-date.

1) Can I flash Global>EU version without unlocking bootloader?
2) Can I do it without loosing data

> Unlocked bootloader installed according to instructions

1. Needed to do factory reset after installing all aps because gmail attachments didn't download and show
2. Call forwarding is not working
3. Slow reaction to sharing/sending picture from galery via whatsapp, need to wait second or so....
4. Internet bank app doesn't work

So in short I have a question, is there option to have:

> Global ROM
> MUI dialer
> MUI messages

Because otherwise I don't see other benefits from current version EU ROM over GLOBAL

Question - one sim card can do call forward second can't . Says "Network or SIM card error" started with EU ROM and now same when rolling back to Global ROM. Is it related to unlocked bootloader or Mi account? Please help

SOLVED - ANDROID 12 bug, SIM 1 Call forwarding not working, bot on stock and EU ROM, rolled back to ANDROID 11 STOCK GLOBAL ROM Call forwarding working
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hi Again,

With going back to global, google pay is broken but banking app works.

Now I am back to EU ROM. Is there something that I can do to make banking app work?
Easy way to hide bootloader unlock or something else that should be done?
Or can bootloader be locked again?
But still there is error for one sim that is related to Mi account
" Call settings error - Network or SIM card error "

Hi guys, I really need help! I bought Mi 11 Pro On the site TradingShenzhen With Xiaomi.eu rom and I have nothing but worries!!! as soon as I play a game that uses "pubg" power or else I use the camera too much, my phone reboots every time, that's 5 or 6 times a day!!! I'm really at my wit's end. I have already tried several updates, at each installation clean the data, but the problem does not change at all! so I would like to try to go back to the original Chinese rom to try to see if the problem is still there. so I need a tutorial to start from the xiaomi.eu 13.0.9 rom has the Chinese rom behind. I hope someone will take the time to help me

Hello is it possible to post/make available latest Android 11 and MUI 12.5 version of stable ROM in fastboot version? I have tried TWRP but didn't get anywhere.

If not - if I flash last available fastboot version of Android 11 will I be able to OTA to newer stable version of 12.5 MUI?

Sorry to ask a stupid question, getting this phone soon and been reading up, is there any tips apart from following the instructions so I can avoid relocking the bootloader and putting it into edl mode when I move to this rom.

Basically I just want to avoid any hiccups as much as possible and I have the fear 😂

Sorry for the noob question. As I have been using Samsung for about 10 years, I decided to migrate to mi11u.
I purchased the CN version and have a few questions:

The tutorial indicates to install version 12, but can I install 13? https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-13-stable-release.64441/ from that link?

The Chinese version that I got already comes with the global ROM, I believe I will have to install the CN back to be able to do the EU procedure, correct?

For me installation of xiaomi.eu ROM on Chines version Mi11 Ultra was very easy.

    - unlock bootloader in MiUnlock
    - unpack xiaomi firmware file "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.5.3.0.RKACNXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip"
    - reboot and connect phone in fastboot mode
    - run script inside unpacked ROM folder "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat"
    - wait till ROM will be flashed, that's it :)

I just also managed to flash my Mi 11 Ultra (CN version), using the instructions from the below post:

I went from CN 12.5.2 to .EU 12.5.3. Don't know how important the slot setting commands were (they felt quite important), but I managed to avoid bricking, so can't have hurt.

    First impressions:
    - V nice and smooth - feels as refined as I'd hoped
    - Google integration seems perfect
    - GPay still working. Haven't re-installed bank apps yet, but no reason to think they won't work.
    - Google Discover now working if I swipe left from home screen (had to change a setting to enable) - v happy about that
    - Calendar app icon now a lot neater (day doesn't stretch right to each edge of the icon)
    - Only quirk so far (as reported elsewhere): Google Maps is using its old app icon - I can live with that..!

    yes, com.xiaomi.misubscreenui is rear display..

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (512Gb Chinese variant) successfully flashed from 12.5.30 to latest XiaomiEU 12.5.40.
I was following this steps (Link) (Using ORIGINAL 67W cable)

    PS: What I did additionally.
After bootloader unlocked (the phone will wipe everything by it self due to the process of unlocking bootloader) however after bootup I log in to MIUI account, after activated developers settings, I saw Oem Unlocking is ON and my phone is Unlocked.
I factory reset it one more time ! Log in to my MIUI account., activated developer settings., activated debuging mode, authorize devices to PC. Restarted to Fastboot.

    (ADMIN)
cmd: fastboot devices (my phone is there)
    cmd: fastboot getvar current-slot
    current-slot: b

    cmd: fastboot set_active a

Back to extract file folder XIaomiUE rom.

Press SHIFT and right click on windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat runs as Administrator.

    DONE !

PS Little advice if your phone sending superimg 1/8 too long , just press Y.

    GOOD LUCK

I LOVE the ROM! Thank you devs !!!
I'm flash xiaomi.eu with less job to do:
-After unlocked bootloader, phone boots up, when you get to home screen, reboot to fast boot and connect to PC (didn't login to miui account, and didn't factory reset again)
-unzip xiaomi.eu ROM package, run "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat " as Administrator
-wait till everything will be flashed, no need to set_active slot, as this is already done by script.

Don't know why nobody fallows original tutorial from xiaomi.eu here in first post: https://xdaforums.com/t/rom-miui-star-mars-xiaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-mi-11-pro-ultra.4260617/

Also very happy from xiaomi.eu ROM ;)
