how is it PA 3?
just flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_POCOX3NFC_V18.104.22.168.SJGMIXM_v13-12.zip using twrp-3.6.2_12-0-surya-brigudav.img and ADB tools.according to that website miui 13 is out now for surya global recovery
has anyone tried it ?
and which twrp version do i need ? the latest brigudav one on androidhost ?
do i need to download vendor or something like that ? I've been using the 12.5.5 till now didn't even know 12.5.8 was out
to make things clearer
i am planning to switch to this using that twrp img
did you see if security patch to play store updates? somebody reported that it is at the sept. 2021 level and crashes when it tries to upgrade. I would like to upgrade from 12.5.8 but if Play Store can't upgrade, I will wait.just flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_POCOX3NFC_V22.214.171.124.SJGMIXM_v13-12.zip using twrp-3.6.2_12-0-surya-brigudav.img and ADB tools.
everything seems fine.
I have the same thing that is described in this post.
When I update using TWRP, I don't use ADB Tools. Why did you use it?just flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_POCOX3NFC_V126.96.36.199.SJGMIXM_v13-12.zip using twrp-3.6.2_12-0-surya-brigudav.img and ADB tools.
everything seems fine.
I used ADB Tools to install TWRP as I was on a stock MIUI before. When I update using TWRP, I don't use ADB Tools. Why did you use it?
Another thing: Did you had any problem with your data? Did it get encrypted? I'm asking because the changelog of that version of TWRP states: "Decryption on A12.1 ROMs is fully working".
It does not mention anything with Android 13...
I used ADB Tools to install TWRP as I was on a stock MIUI before.
I didn't have problems with data, but I have disabled screen lock before flashing. I'm not sure if it got encrypted, but TWRP loaded just fine and I was able to choose the ROM from the internal memory. I don't know much about Android 13.
It feels like the battery was a bit better on my previous MIUI 12.5 Enhanced, but I cannot say for sure as I didn't measure that back then. Here's the graph (plains are idle state):Ok. You had Stock. So it makes sense to use ADB Tools.
If your data got encrypted you would know!! It happened to me in the first ROM I installed. When TWRP opened it stated "Data encrypted". When I tried to start the phone: Data encrypted!
So you did not get your data encrypted
Regarding the battery. Everything OK?? I still have version 12.09, because all of new versions had worst battery management (so I read on foruns).
With this ROM my phone is charged every 2 days.
I had your problem too! My first TWRP was "3.4.0-0 By mahajant99" and got the Unable to Decrypt message.
Then I tried to decrypt phone using this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ck-twrp-factory-image-stock-recovery.3358711/. Installed the app in Windows 10, executed the "Erase All Data / Decrypt Internal Storage". But there was an error there too, so I think it didn't decrypt anything...
After I changed TWRP to "twrp-3.4.0-15-surya-mauronofrio" and rebooted to System and MIUI was on the screen!
After the boot I got a message saying my phone was locked and to unlock it I had to enter my Xiaomi Password and that I did and the phone got unlocked.
I think this was all I did...
Now I have the EU ROM and Root.
By the way, in the "TOOL ALL IN ONE" there is no option for X3, so I selected Poco F1 I guess... I know it was another Pocophone...
Just remembered I read in another site about flashing another .img and a ZIP file, and I asked about it here. Just went to history and here it is: https://unofficialtwrp.com/xiaomi-poco-x3-root-twrp/
I don't know if it will help you, but in there states that, after flashing TWRP, DON'T BOOT TO SYSTEM! First flash "no_verity_opt_Encrypt.zip". Again I ended up not doing what it says there (flash "Vmbeta.img" and flash "no_verity_opt_Encrypt.zip"), but it's another option for you, in case your phone is still stuck on TWRP...
Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!
Flash the global fastboot rom using Mi flash .... make sure you haven't relocked the bootloader by unchecking the necessary box
Reboot into system
Boot into fastboot
Flash Orangefox recovery image using adb
Reboot into recovery before you reboot into system or you will lose OF
Boot into OF then flash Xiaomi.eu
Format data .....
Reboot into recovery
Reboot to system
These are the steps I used.
