To install 12.0.3 update with TWRP, do we need to format data/cache? Or just install zip?

If you update from a xiaomi.eu ROM, no Data wipe/format is needed (you can wipe cache and davlik). If you install it over stock ROM or other custom ROM, format Data is needed. To install 12.0.3 update with TWRP, do we need to format data/cache? Or just install zip?

It happened today with my wife's phone.Does anyone have such an issue that they have to reboot your phone every 2nd call otherwise you can't hear the caller?
The developer made a fastboot ROM because, at that time, no TWRP was made for Poco X3. Since we have 2 working TWRP now + 1 OrangeFox, I guess dev will make ROM for recovery use only. There is a xiaomi.eu_multi_POCOX3NFC_V12.0.3.0 TWR flash, but fasboot mode?
As I know, weekly ROMs are for devices who have Chinese ROMs. Poco X3 it's international version only, so it will get only stable ROMs.@ingbrzy Can I ask why "surya" still doesn't appears as official or supported on the list of weekly devices?
I am just curious about that, we all really apreciate your awesome work!
No Data wipe needed.....you'll get the updates from system settings anyway (OTA).do we need to wipe data for every stable update release? or can we just dirty flash it?
even if update via fastboot? No Data wipe needed.....you'll get the updates from system settings anyway (OTA).
If you are not at xiaomi.eu ROM already, the easiest way to flash it is: flash 12.0.3 Global stock ROM using MiFlash (if you use it already, skip this step) - install TWRP - flash 12.0.3 xiaomi.eu (https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv12/) - format Data - reboot to TWRP (optional, but I always do it) - reboot system.even if update via fastboot?

one more thing, do i need to flash immediately the twrp after flashing 12.0.2 xiaomi.eu or do i need to: after flashing via fastboot, boot the phone, set up first the 12.0.2 and then flash the twrp? i'm afraid to have my device bricked (bootloop)
i currently have global rom 12.0.3 MIXM and i wanted to flash this eu rom since it has nice feedback, i want to use also the stock miui apps like messaging app, i think this is the only way. my bootloader will be unlock tomorrow. If you are not at xiaomi.eu ROM already, the easiest way to flash it is: flash 12.0.3 stock ROM using MiFlash - install TWRP - flash 12.0.3 xiaomi.eu (https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv12/) - format Data - reboot to TWRP (optional, but I always do it) - reboot system.

- fastboot mode, open script on 12.0.2 xiaomi.eu
- reboot to set up
- fastboot mode again and flash TWRP
- reboot to twrp
- wipe data, cache
- install 12.0.3 update via twrp
- format data, cache the reboot.
is this correct sir?

My way to do it: Flash stock Global ROM using MiFlash - install TWRP - flash xiaomi.eu ROM via TWRP - format Data - reboot to TWRP (optional, but I always do it) - reboot system. If i ever wanted to revert back to xiaomi.eu from custom rom whats the best way?
Just to double check, when flashing back to stock via miflash we can downgrade back to lower firmware without any problems right? My way to do it: Flash stock Global ROM using MiFlash - install TWRP - flash xiaomi.eu ROM - format Data - reboot to TWRP (optional, but I always do it) - reboot system.
