OneOS is based (for Mi 11) lastest Stable / Weekly Chinese Xiaomi.eu ROM like MiuiMix, but purpose interesting features. It's also the most debloated stock custom ROM, the more smooth i've tested. Really strong for the first releases on Mi11 (OneOS is not new, but OneOS is out only there a few months on Mi11)

■ INSTALLATION ■

[STEP 1] >> BEFORE iNSTALLATiON <<

You must have a "Unlocked" Bootloader (for using TWRP, install custom ROM).

> If it's already done, go directly on Step [2] ! <

For Unlock your Bootloader, you must use Mi Unlock Tool
in Fastboot Mode

A/ Sign/Create in with your Mi Account
B/ If your device appair "Locked" the first time, it's normal
C/ Click "Unlock" and waiting, a remaining time will appair, at this time you will wait 168 hours (1 week)

/!\ If you trying again asking unlock before the 168 hours, counter will be resetted ! /!\
/!\ Unlock Bootloader will Erase ALL YOUR DATA, be sure to have backup your data BEFORE ! /!\

D/ After waiting 168+ hours, unlock your bootloader will be granted

E/ Always in Fastboot Mode > Mi Unlock, click "Unlock" and waiting... Your device is resetted and bar progress / pourcent appair, your Bootloader has been unlocked, Data has been erased.
You could verify Unlock status in Mi Unlock, your status should be "Unlock".

Well, now...

[STEP 2] >> iNSTALLATiON FROM TWRP <<

This rom is installed from a Custom Recovery TWRP (not fastboot) available here : twrp-3.5.1-venus

A/ Put your device on Fastboot Mode
B/ From your computer, using CMD shell in Administrator for run ADB commands
If you do not have already ADB installed on your computer, You can found all links here :
How to Install ADB on Windows, macOS, and Linux - XDA

C/ For Run TWRP, put the command in CMD
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.5.1-venus.img

To change TWRP language to English, press bottom right button (Sixth) and click on the Earth logo and select English.. (like the screenshot)

WE HAVE ONLY BOOT IN TWRP AT THIS STEP, IF YOU WANT DEFINITIVELY INSTALL TWRP INSTEAD STOCK RECOVERY YOU MUST INJECT KEY

D/ For install ROM :

> FROM OFFiCiAL MIUI ROM OR ANOTHER MIUI WiTH ANOTHER CANAL (Stable <-> Weekly) <

You must FORMAT your Data :

/!\ FORMAT DATA will Erase ALL YOUR DATA, be sure to backup your data BEFORE ! /!\

After that, you must reboot TWRP.
Redo the step a/, b/ and c/ OR Reboot > Recovery (if you have install TWRP with Inject Key)

So after FORMAT DATA and reboot in TWRP, installation is here :)
- TWRP > Install > Data\Media > Select your "OneOS-ROM*.zip"
- Wipe > Dalvik Cache / ART Cache
- Reboot > System

> ONLY FOR iNSTALL ONEOS ROM UPDATE / OTA <

- TWRP > Install > Data\Media > Select your "OneOS-ROM*.zip" *
- Wipe > Dalvik Cache / ART Cache
- Reboot > System

* If you are already Root or want install Root, just flash Magisk after flashing ROM (Attached Files)

■ ROOT ■

IF YOU WANT ROOT, INSTALL MAGISK

The Easiest way to install Magisk, especially on a Custom ROM is the "old school" method, flash your root app (Magisk) directly from your custom recovery (TWRP).

You will reflash Magisk after each ROM update

Now Magisk has changed, normally it's advised to manualy patch boot under Magisk and inject Boot "Magisked" from Fastboot / ABD command for Boot once with Root access granted and finally apply from Magisk Root definitively... But you must do that each time, each new OTA/Upgrade... Boring

So for TWRP/Root lovers, the "old school" method is simple.

Go only here from the official Github website

  • Download the Magisk APK (you can shoose Stable or Canary version)
  • Rename the .apk file extension to .zip, for example: Magisk-v2X.0.apk → Magisk-v2X.0.zip. If you have trouble renaming the file extension (like on Windows), use a file manager on Android or the one included in TWRP to rename the file.
  • Flash the zip just like any other ordinary flashable zip.
  • Reboot and check whether the Magisk app is installed. If it isn’t installed automatically, manually install the APK.

MAGISK UNINSTALLATION

If for some reasons you do not want keep root or if a unstable magisk module block boot system, you can also uninstall Magisk from the recovery... always the old school method ^^

From System (ROM)
The easiest way to uninstall Magisk is directly through the Magisk app.

From Recovery (TWRP)
If you insist on using custom recoveries, rename the Magisk APK to uninstall.zip and flash it like any other ordinary flashable zip.

Soo nice font on screen shots, what is this font family name?

It's the stock fonts,it's "Roboto".
You have tousand from Theme Store (Chinese), or if you prefer Theme Manager Global (for Theme like me), yous can use FontManager (Magisk Store) for change your fonts systemless ;) (i like SanFrancisco / Google Sans)

I have tried, it's Roboto, but the are a lot of variant. And be careful, "System-wide variable font" change drasticaly apparence. Be sure you have activate this feature and my dpi size is 440. (changing in dev mode)

Can you decrypt the storage thru twrp after flashing this rom? Is it easy to install magisk in this rom?

This ROM is MIUI, Custom MIUI and TWRP is always the same version from beginning. So there any reason TWRP working differently on this ROM. I have any problem to decrypt (i use code & fingerprint on my Mi 11) and the most people have problem with decrypt is because of TWRP Chinese UI, they do not enter properly their code.
After that you must Mount partitions for access SdCard files (Internatl User partition)

And for Magisk, easy, i have installed Magisk directly after flash rom from TWRP.

Thanks. Kindly update us when the next build is released and on how you will flash the update and root after the update.

For you, some Screenshots :)

When next update will come, like Xiaomi.eu rom, download update ROM, Boot TWRP, apply Update/Rom and flash on the fly Magisk, reboot, it's done. For now 21.8.16 is the lastest

    Hey guys,

I am using OneOS from the start now on my Xiaomi Mi 11 (Venus) and I made a video about it. If somebody is looking for a sneak preview of what it is/how it works/main perks on the Mi 11, maybe this vid can help.

    A12 already released?

No but the Xiaomi.eu is on the Beta test process, so because Xiaomi.eu is base for all custom MIUI, in a few time we will have Xiaomi.eu, MiuiMix & OneOS :)

And LineageOS is finally booted, so all will come. I'm waiting a lot AOSP Roms like PixelExperience.

Are you using stable version 23? This works normally.

Use the Canary without problem, but don't waste your time with people thinking talk with robots.
The man explain nothing (Clean or Dirty flash, his old rom, is format or wiped, etc...), he post just complain like talking to Google Assistant.

Polite people can also asking with "Hello" / "Please" / "Thanks" lol
