Mi 11 pro - Global ROM its failing if I tried solution 1. After a restart it doesnt fix the safety pass.

Ive installed Magisk with the boot.img of the rom and installed through FASTBOOT.

BTW is a TWRP required?

No, you have just appy boot patching method for root with Magisk and not the old method apply Magisk directly from recovery TWRP. It's good for the same result.

So if first Solution don't work, have you tried with MagiskHide Props ? Are you sure to have applied MagiskHide in Magisk ?

EDIT : Your video is unavailable

Thats is good. I dont have have TWRP installed. But apply the patch boot.img and installed Magisk with Root. Fix the video link.

Magisk Hide Props, there is no finger print available for my device.. Only Mi 11 Chinese. I tried that yesterday but witout luck. Will try it again.

For some reason can't disable stock gallery. Everything else disables fine. I'm on latest weekly. Can someone test it please and tell me this problem is on my end?

Yes it seems it can't be disable, I tried even with devcheck.

If rooted, just use app "Disable Application" or "Swift Backup" for freeze apps you want

If not rooted, just disable apps you wand vie adb command :
Code:
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

replace XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX by the app name, for found name :

1st Solution :
Long Press on Galley icon > ! (App Infos) > ! logo on right front and you will found the name like
"com.android.gallery"

2nd Solution :
Install from Play Store app like "Apk Info" (by Kenumir) and you will have all installed Apps with full names

hello would it be possible to have crt-off mode on this rom? thank you

No, there no CRT Mode, and only way was Xposed there a long time ago vie ScreenOffAnimation module (from 2014...). It's old and not compatible with Android R

Downloaded ROM for mi11 venus, flashed with magisk and then wiped dalvik. Next thing i see after reboot chinese twrp menu and no os installed warning. After few attempts to reboot into the system suddenly oneOS logo appears. Best custom os ever.

Also font used by default is not roboto. at least not the version used in original miui, and there is no option to switch it off, (it looks like a poor chinese copy of the original one) i only managed to enable it by adding custom font from themes. Font settings are useless in that regard.
Upd. Now i wonder why Mi Music was placed into oneplus space. It is essential for opening sound files and there is no alternative pre installed. Same goes for mi video. Yet we have recorder and gallery. Strange.
Also if the developer ever would read it i suggest adding ability to lock oem unlock button slider like it is in xiaomi eu, but make locking slider itself an option, plus add slide to unlock like in samsung lock screens.

Is nobody having trouble with missing Sim Tool Kit? I can not use any banking websites or any thing that needs pin id input because there is no sim tool kit. I have tried everything (installing Sim Tool Kit does nothing...ID input does no show up) great rom but not useful like this.

Any ideas?🧐

SIM Tool Kit have nothing related to using a bank app.
For use bank app your device should pass SafetyNet CTS & be certified (Google Play).
If you are rooted, you must be sure MagiskHide is activated and Hide Magisk App hitseff.

After that, pratically all bank app working fine.

I think you are not understanding me right.
ON THIS ROM ONLY I HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I don't get this problem with all the others...I have tried all aosp ROMs and Miui eu rooted or not.

Every time I log in to a website or app that needs phone id
Screenshot_2021-11-08-10-43-04-810_com.android.stk.jpg

This is what is supposed to pop up.
This menu is a part of the Sim Tool Kit.
This menu never shows up in this ROM.

The problem I think is happening is that the first time you turn on the phone and it registers on the network the first time it is supposed to update the Sim Tool Kit to whatever region you are registering.
Because there is no Sim Tool in the ROM to begin with this does not happen

So I can use all banking apps that don't need phone id.
But for my banking and everything here in Iceland I need this feature. I have to use this kind of login for it to work.

So maybe you understand me better now 😕

Ps. Thanks for the quick response 😁😁

No one can understand something only you know.... There no medium here. Read your previous message and said me where you have said :
- You have this problem only with this rom
- You don't have this problem with others
- You have rooted or not
- etc ...

All that said your previous post was you want absolutely SIM Tool BECAUSE :
"not use any banking websites or any thing that needs pin id input because there is no sim tool kit."

I advise to you back on lastest global for fix your Bank, and apparently also your encoding 10 bits.

OneOS is based (for Mi 11) lastest Stable / Weekly Chinese Xiaomi.eu ROM like MiuiMix, but purpose interesting features. It's also the most debloated stock custom ROM, the more smooth i've tested. Really strong for the first releases on Mi11 (OneOS is not new, but OneOS is out only there a few months on Mi11)

    ■ INSTALLATION ■

    [STEP 1] >> BEFORE iNSTALLATiON <<

You must have a "Unlocked" Bootloader (for using TWRP, install custom ROM).

    > If it's already done, go directly on Step [2] ! <

For Unlock your Bootloader, you must use Mi Unlock Tool
    in Fastboot Mode

A/ Sign/Create in with your Mi Account
B/ If your device appair "Locked" the first time, it's normal
C/ Click "Unlock" and waiting, a remaining time will appair, at this time you will wait 168 hours (1 week)

/!\ If you trying again asking unlock before the 168 hours, counter will be resetted ! /!\
/!\ Unlock Bootloader will Erase ALL YOUR DATA, be sure to have backup your data BEFORE ! /!\

D/ After waiting 168+ hours, unlock your bootloader will be granted

E/ Always in Fastboot Mode > Mi Unlock, click "Unlock" and waiting... Your device is resetted and bar progress / pourcent appair, your Bootloader has been unlocked, Data has been erased.
You could verify Unlock status in Mi Unlock, your status should be "Unlock".

    Well, now...

    [STEP 2] >> iNSTALLATiON FROM TWRP <<

This rom is installed from a Custom Recovery TWRP (not fastboot) available here : twrp-3.5.1-venus

A/ Put your device on Fastboot Mode
B/ From your computer, using CMD shell in Administrator for run ADB commands
If you do not have already ADB installed on your computer, You can found all links here :
How to Install ADB on Windows, macOS, and Linux - XDA

C/ For Run TWRP, put the command in CMD
    Code:
    fastboot boot twrp-3.5.1-venus.img

To change TWRP language to English, press bottom right button (Sixth) and click on the Earth logo and select English.. (like the screenshot)

WE HAVE ONLY BOOT IN TWRP AT THIS STEP, IF YOU WANT DEFINITIVELY INSTALL TWRP INSTEAD STOCK RECOVERY YOU MUST INJECT KEY

    D/ For install ROM :

    > FROM OFFiCiAL MIUI ROM OR ANOTHER MIUI WiTH ANOTHER CANAL (Stable <-> Weekly) <

You must FORMAT your Data :

/!\ FORMAT DATA will Erase ALL YOUR DATA, be sure to backup your data BEFORE ! /!\

After that, you must reboot TWRP.
Redo the step a/, b/ and c/ OR Reboot > Recovery (if you have install TWRP with Inject Key)

So after FORMAT DATA and reboot in TWRP, installation is here :)
    - TWRP > Install > Data\Media > Select your "OneOS-ROM*.zip"
    - Wipe > Dalvik Cache / ART Cache
    - Reboot > System

    > ONLY FOR iNSTALL ONEOS ROM UPDATE / OTA <

    - TWRP > Install > Data\Media > Select your "OneOS-ROM*.zip" *
    - Wipe > Dalvik Cache / ART Cache
    - Reboot > System

    * If you are already Root or want install Root, just flash Magisk after flashing ROM (Attached Files)

    ■ ROOT ■

IF YOU WANT ROOT, INSTALL MAGISK

The Easiest way to install Magisk, especially on a Custom ROM is the "old school" method, flash your root app (Magisk) directly from your custom recovery (TWRP).

You will reflash Magisk after each ROM update

Now Magisk has changed, normally it's advised to manualy patch boot under Magisk and inject Boot "Magisked" from Fastboot / ABD command for Boot once with Root access granted and finally apply from Magisk Root definitively... But you must do that each time, each new OTA/Upgrade... Boring

So for TWRP/Root lovers, the "old school" method is simple.

Go only here from the official Github website

    • Download the Magisk APK (you can shoose Stable or Canary version)
    • Rename the .apk file extension to .zip, for example: Magisk-v2X.0.apk → Magisk-v2X.0.zip. If you have trouble renaming the file extension (like on Windows), use a file manager on Android or the one included in TWRP to rename the file.
    • Flash the zip just like any other ordinary flashable zip.
    • Reboot and check whether the Magisk app is installed. If it isn’t installed automatically, manually install the APK.

    MAGISK UNINSTALLATION

If for some reasons you do not want keep root or if a unstable magisk module block boot system, you can also uninstall Magisk from the recovery... always the old school method ^^

    From System (ROM)
The easiest way to uninstall Magisk is directly through the Magisk app.

    From Recovery (TWRP)
If you insist on using custom recoveries, rename the Magisk APK to uninstall.zip and flash it like any other ordinary flashable zip.

    Hey guys,

I am using OneOS from the start now on my Xiaomi Mi 11 (Venus) and I made a video about it. If somebody is looking for a sneak preview of what it is/how it works/main perks on the Mi 11, maybe this vid can help.

    3
    A12 already released?

No but the Xiaomi.eu is on the Beta test process, so because Xiaomi.eu is base for all custom MIUI, in a few time we will have Xiaomi.eu, MiuiMix & OneOS :)

And LineageOS is finally booted, so all will come. I'm waiting a lot AOSP Roms like PixelExperience.
    2
Are you using stable version 23? This works normally.

Use the Canary without problem, but don't waste your time with people thinking talk with robots.
The man explain nothing (Clean or Dirty flash, his old rom, is format or wiped, etc...), he post just complain like talking to Google Assistant.

Polite people can also asking with "Hello" / "Please" / "Thanks" lol
