Right now I find miui too laggy, got back to quarx's cm7.

Not really. Ita quite slow. Gps barely works and camera shifts wide images to one side. Thats all I remember for now.

Wait til friday hopefully they switched to quarx newest sources and it will be much better with only really minor bugs like cm7 now.

if you have installed miui-rom, i think that you used bootmenuv1.4 (as a custom recovery) because this rom started only in 2ndinit....ok
you are in miui-rom, reboot phone,at bluelight you clik vol-down and enter in boot menu, go in recovery/custom recovery, ok there is backup/restore you click backup and finally you have backup about your miui system installed...
then, always in recovery go back and do a full wipe, then you can remomed battery, put battery and enter in boot mode volume up and power, connect defy at usb cable and from rsd lite you flash GB 2.3.3 motoblur......this is all!

when you want to restoring your backup/miui, from your gb rom, you installed again "defy 2nd init", enter again in recovery/custom recovery and go in backup/restore but at this time you click on restore! then go again in boot and choiche start as 2ndinit!!

The thing is Quarx is doing all the groundwork while MIUI are just making it look pretty. Quarx is doing the harder part...

Oh it is true. Miui on defy would never have happened if it wasnt for quarx. The worst part is they take his open source hard work, make it pretty then make it closed source!

yep.. it's preloaded

i came from cm7 b6,

-apply zip directly from bootmenu inside cm7... ---> FAIL 1

-stock recovery, wipe data+cache, flash nordic froyo, root,
install latest bootmenu (1.7), apply zip ---> FAIL 2
(stupid, i try this just because pedrodh says latest installer can install MiUi)
