battery life...

I would know how is the battery drain/life...

I've read around that CM7 (and so MIUI) have got a strange battery consumption: 30% a night in flight mode! With Eclair/Froyo I've got 1-2% a night...
I'm worried

Hopefully if they use Quarx beta 6 sources then both MIUI and CM7 will be a lot easier to hop between as the bootmenu versions will be able to restore eachothers nandroids and install eachothers rom zips!

At the moment switching between is a painful process!

Regarding battery CM7 beta 6 has great battery overnight. Only a couple of percent used. Miui seems good for me too. It's only CM7 beta 5 that had huge battery issues.

AT THE FIRST TIME I WAS SCEPTICAL ABOUT THIS ROM
NOW I'M IN LOVE with this ROM..

it just like a brand new phone!!

but what's bugging me is:
-a bit laggy on transition and scrolling
-aGPS is not present yet
-camera shift

else, just eye candy and impressive.

by the way, it just stupid question, where's the app drawer..?


i wish there is dual boot: CM7 and MiUi..

Today I installed MIUI ROM, everything seems to be working correctly except FM radio. Thanks a lot to the people who helped me. I wish there would have been Hindi read support too.

Recorded video is also choppy... Are yours the same? Otherwise, it's a great ROM, by far the best in terms of usability and look'n'feel.

Video is choppy cos it still is in quarx cm7. The only downside to miui is it will always be behind cm7 fixes wise as its based on cm7.

There is NO app drawer...its iphone like thats the point...organise all your apps into 1 folder if you want to create a sort of app drawer.

For camera shift set it to 5mp and at least the pics dont shift...just no wide option yet.

FM Radio is not a priority to these guys so dont expect to see it til around July unless we can fix ourselves.

put this theme into microsd, then from file manager you click on theme, automatic it is intalled.... then enjoy the show in your defy!!

I really do like the Rom just credit needs to be giving and miui devs need to get off there lazzy a and work as well not wait for quarx but I do love the Rom just very appealing while being android
And yes hopefully tomorrow we get update with many fixes based in latest git from quarx xD

Looks like my wifi isn't working as it's suppose to...can't connect sometimes and sometimes shows low signal even though I'm right next to the router....

Anyone with same wifi kind of issue?

Remember this is a based off quarx work well we certainly think so so anything that was in quarx early builds is most likely in miui
