Does 1.8.12 have a good FM radio app? Once upon a time, I have tested an older version of MIUI and its radio was not available/functional. How It is now?
What annoying bugs still persist?

. It's just that the top page from MiUI showed the 9th of july date I tried 1.8.5 a week ago and Radio was fine. But other than that +1, I want to know what's different from 1.8.5 too. I remember UI was splendid but a bit sluggish at times.

fm doesnt work on this..use miui us if u want fm radio..
@remuseu and LeopardSurd the FM radio is working flawlessly on 1.8.12. As far as I know the guys from miuiandroid.com automated the MIUI translation process to speed up the releasing process, but this has a downside: once in a while the FM radio included in the Friday release isn't working. This happens because the miui devs are constantly changing the FM.apk and through this automated process the FM apk gets screwed up and they have to do it manually. Generally another language pack is published after a while (few hours up to 1 day) with the proper FM.apk on the miuiandroid site.
A couple of days ago, I upgraded to 1.8.12 from 1.7.22 and battery life seems noticeably worse for me, losing approximately 2.5% an hour when sleeping when it was previously draining at around half this rate. Has anybody else noticed similar problems in the past couple of releases?
I'm a relatively light user but battery life is important for me at times. I'll probably wait to see what the next couple of releases bring but may eventually go back to 1.7.22 which was pretty good for me.

No change for me on battery: about 1%/hr on standby, or 0.5%/hr with 3g turned off.
I was getting reboots, and some call problems with this rom. I needed to call at least 2 times to a number to get a call, on the firts is was like the other phone was turned off. Then i get back to CM7, and no reboots, and in the first call all the numbers are good.

remuseu the topic shouldn't be locked. Maybe there will be questions among those whom are using miuiandroid version. It's pointless to create another topic for this ROM only cause the OP can't be updated. For the new versions we can easily lookout on the ROM download section of miuiandroid site, but we can share our findings here.
This became the general MIUI thread long ago, why should one want to lock it? Just because it doesn't say "1.8.19" in the title?

Miuiandroid.com is still the main english source for MIUI. It is still active. So their forums are. So their version of MIUI is. So what should be the point in locking this thread? Miui.us is just a spinoff.

Hmmm. I've also noticed that, in addition to the unusually high battery drain, charging under 1.8.12 also occurs very slowly - it would seem to be on a par with charging from USB even though my charger supplies 1 amp.
I'll try 1.8.19 to see if that makes any difference. Otherwise, I may need to try a wipe as I've not installed with a full wipe since I moved to MIUI a couple of months ago.
Incidentally, which SBF are you using? I'm on Nordic.
It means MIUI have all/almost all the bugs from CM7 ported by Quarx and from original MIUI. That's the realty.
