Running the latest version of this ROM and I love it! I just noticed that I can't set a live wallpaper to the lock screen though. It freezes the settings menu until it crashes. Any suggestions?
If you look at the top of the live wallpaper selection screen there's an arrow pointing to the right, click it and it takes you to an alternate live wallpaper screen.

I am getting no audio when I plug in headphones. Zero. All is fine through speaker. I'm using viper. As soon a I plug in. Software continue. Specifically Spotify. But it's system wide. And I hear nothing.
Love this more than anything on note 3. Including k3. But this is a huge glitch. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I hope :/

Hi guys, welcome to Galaxy Note fre3. This ROM is 'Wizless' in that it doesn't have the Samsung launcher or widgets, and tries to remove as much bloatware as possible while maintaining a fully functional ROM.

Addons:
Sprint Visual Voicemail: Visual Voicemail

Data Connectivity Issues?:
-There was a small problem pre-1.4 that messed up APNs for some. If you suffer from data connectivity issues and don't want to factory reset, download the flashable zip below, which will put the APN backup & restore app into your /system/app directory and the SprintAPNxXML file onto your sdcard. Once done installing, boot back up and launch the application, Ignore the warning screen you get from first launch, then press menu and select "Disable ICS check." Once done, exit the app and load it again, then choose "Delete APNs" and select yes to the following prompt. Once done, go ahead and tap Restore APNs, and select the SprintAPNsXML from the prompt and select no to the duplicate check. Once it is done, it should have imported 24 APNs, if so, go ahead and reboot and your data connection should work fine. For good measure go ahead and update your profile after the reboot.

Could you, uhm, edit your previous post to not include the whole OP?

Just a suggestion.

Loving the ROM, thanks for your efforts. One question: whenever I enable ART runtime in developer settings, the phone will reboot but the change isn't applied (defaults back to Dalvik). Is there any way to get it working, or is it not supported?

So I know this rom is very stripped but does the S pen menu still work? There are still some TW features I love.

Yes. It's stripped of mostly the launcher. TouchWiz is an entire ecosystem, not just a launcher, and this entire rom is made from it.

Cool nice. I wasn't sure if it was tied to the launcher. I'm new to this phone. Came from the Nexus 5. ;)

Not a problem. I certainly didn't mean to do anything but provide info (ie, sans attitude).

You may form a love/hate relationship with TouchWiz. Owning a Nexus 7 2013 allows me to take in KitKat pure, unalloyed to the baser metal of Sammy heavy-handedness. Still, the phone is hard-wired to TouchWiz at a rudimentary level, which is why you see so many AOSP roms lacking fundamental capabilities, then fixed, then unexpected new issues creep in. This is no criticism, as those roms provide joy to many.

They are just an entirely different user experience.

I agree. That's a good assessment right there.

Can't wait til this rom is updated to Kitkat. Then I'm all over this one.

I Fixed the Clocking Issue by Not Haing One...

I fixed my stupid CPU over-clocking problem...

The option to limit CPU speed was selected in Power Saving mode.

After trying many options, renaming system files strewn across the endless maze that is the operating system, never getting my mind around the basic reason as to why this device could not clock beyond 1.74GHz, the cause stared me right in the face this morning.

See pic below for graphic representation of "MicMars is an idiot...."

No sir! Far from an idiot! In fact you're so bright that you totally skipped the simple fix just assuming there was a deeper issue worthy of your plethora of inactive and lonely unevoked braincells lol

Thank you for this ROM I've tried many and this is the first I've really been able to stick with. I've also flashed blue de Lucia theme and it rocks. The only problem I've been having is the battery life and the multi window will not turn off. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am currently running fre3 1.42, running MJ4 modem. I have read about people having issues with wireless and LTE issues. Mine has gotten pretty bad. I work in downtown Atlanta, have wireless in my office. Wireless at home and strong LTE signals in both locations. When I leave the office and drive home. I have to restart my phone to get any connectivity. Same applies when I leave my house. I thought maybe it was the Sprint Optimizer and then froze it. I am still having the issue and am confused. I turn off 802.11 and phone won't work on phone's LTE. I am getting really frustrated. I love this ROM. I used JellyBomb on my Note 2 and used in on my Note 3 but this is the perfect match for me.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Any thoughts on what I can do?

Thanks in advance.
I had the same issues til I wiped my device. Didn't reflash. Haven't had connectivity issues since.
