Having issues with chroot and ubuntu

any ideas in how to solve this specific issue.

manage to get the image in the microsd card, and everything seems fine when running the shell scripts until I get the following error:
chroot: can't execute '/root/init.sh': Permission denied

went to the folder root with root explorer and there is nothing there.

btw .. usign dynamic rom 4.2, and apart from this little thing, the rom is superb. great work.

If you're on 4.3 JB then yes you're good to go. Just make sure you have SS 3.71 not .72. If you're on KK then you'll need to Odin back to JB.

Bri! I'm going to protest in front of your house or go on a hunger strike there (I don't know where you live LOL). We need an update, please. I seriously can NOT let this ROM go. :(
Who is with me? LOL

I think what I will do is start mini updates that flash over main rom. Saves a lot of time and bandwidth. :)
Whatever you do to keep it alive.

Oh and don't die, you are like one of three people left here!!
I guarantee you more people will be here once they see updates. Try it. This is one of the top and best ROMs in our note 3 community, just in case you wonder.

I told ya! LOL

Btw. Is anyone experiencing high percentage of the "android os" in the battery section? Mine is up to 30% and it's draining the battery a very tiny bit faster than usual. Cleaned caches and fixed perms, but it didn't help.

3-1/2. I can't count myself as a whole person because my brain went into deep sleep in this thread. I always preferred the white keyboard, so when I downloaded 3.0 (which says 4.1 - updated?) I flashed it - from the stock recovery - which left me with a blank stock slot and 4 places to create slots in Safestrap.

Just so I don't have to re-restore everything, we flash the addons in the ROM slot we want that addon in? (I'm leaving the stock ugly gray keyboard until I hear from you.)

BTW, 4.1 turned in the fastest AnTuTu result I've seen on this phone yet. (It's a slow phone compared to a couple of other N3s I've had) - 35011. I'm normally lucky if I hit 30000 on this phone.

Now comes the setting up - and that's going to take all day. Samsung would never recognize my phones.

I think, if the battery use holds well, this will go into the stock slot and be my daily driver.
@K-Alzwayed:
Check your Awake. If it's not almost completely black, try Greenify (you'll need Xposed). It really extends the battery life.
@trident76:
SOMETHING should stay on when the screen is off - even when the phone is in deep sleep. Otherwise when you turn the screen on you'll get hit with a flood of messages, emails, etc. But you can use Smart Wifi Toggler to turn Wifi off when you're not in an area that has a wifi you've already connected to. IOW, ehrn I leave my driveway my wifi turns off. But if I go to Sam's Club, I've used their AT&T hotspot, so it turns on and connects. (Wifi being on during deep sleep draws almost nothing from the battery.) If you want to save even more battery, change the update intervals on anything that updates (email, SMS) to never. You'll still get things pushed through Google's push service and that'll wake the app up long enough to take the data, then go back to deep sleep.

I think that's the one that automatically switches you from wifi to your data connection when the wifi signal gets too weak. I never use it. If I want data on and wifi off, I'll set them that way.
